swollen feet! does anyone else's feet get so swollen that they cannot get their trainers on? and also my foot is so swollen, its swallowing up my toes a little and I have a pins/needles type sensation in them... its just gotten really bad in the last week and its not as though it has been very hot particularly.

My feet are so swollen, no one can believe how gross they look! I can only fit in 2 pairs of shoes and I can't even fit in my flip flops. I am actually a bit concerned about my left foot as it looks permanently deformed. I do need to drink more water though as this is supposed to make it a lot better but since going on mat leave I keep forgetting.

are you sure? the curtains are quite big so depends how much you have, of course i'd pay postage...I'll measure them tonight and PM you :D

Yeah it's just sitting there as we ended up just buying made to measure blackout blinds rather than lining the curtains. But you'd need to check out whether it's cheaper to just buy some from a shop near you compared to postage! But yes let me know tonight and I'll work it out :)

:( I need a huuuuuge rant...but not about anything in particular. Just loads of little things that have finally gotten to me. lol. Joyous pregnancy hormones.

I feel so drained of energy aaaaaaall the time :( Just can't be bothered to do anything. Yet on the weekend we went to london and walked pretty much everywhere which is unlike me for excercise. :D I have so much cleaning and hoovering to do. Haven't done it for over a week getting on 2 weeks now. :( Feel sorry for OH as it's not messy, just dirty.

I have just over 4 1/2 weeks left til D-Day and I am really bricking it. I'm worried about the birth, pain and tearing badly again like last time where i couldn't sit down properly for 2 weeks. I'm worried about how I'll look after 2 kids and just keep thinking bad things about how I should have left kids til a later age and how I'll never get time off on my own to do something.

OH's family are really getting me down now as they just couldn't care less that I'm having another little girl as they all wanted a little boy. I know I should just say oh well but I've been through this once before with DD's bio family not telling anyone I was pregnant and having not seen her ever even after I said just give me a ring when you want to meet up. His aunt and uncle who we used to live near before we moved back here to devon think I'm a gold digger as well as OH has taken me and DD on. I thought they were nice just then sent a gold digging card on my birthday in February telling OH "as a joke" to watch out. The fact that when we first lived together he lost his job and relied on me to pay his rent, bills, food and things for a good few months but they don't know this as it's embarrassing for OH that this happened which is fair enough as I wouldn't want to embarrass him.

I'm sure there's other stuff but I've probably bored you enough :( Sorry.

Don't let them get to you nene my DH's family are just the same, my two and the one i'm due are their only grandchildren, nepehews and neices and they couldn't care less about them.
They send birthday cards and a present but that is is it, they never phone to ask how they are, never want to speak to them or come and see them.

I used to get really upset about it and make the effort to go and see them despite everything but i have gone past the point of caring as has DH, we just count ourselves lucky that my family is so supportive.

The way i look at it they are the ones missing out.
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.

Nene rant away sounds like the whole in laws are an absolute nightmare. I'm not surprised you are worried as you had a bad experience the last time, can you talk re your concerns with m/w??

Rach I've been waking up at 5 recently then bubs keeps me awake. Tried to have a lie in today as off work but only managed till 8:30 as bubs kicked/punched me hard in the ribs!!

Swollen feet, not really been suffering as yet thankfully!

Waiting for MIL and FIL to come and do some gardening which I am not doing as is far too hot!!

smartie.. I always made up DS1's bottles in an unsterilised jug.. with unsterilised egg whisk and put them in the fridge until required.. during the day they were warmed in the microwave and the nighttime one.. I took up when I went to bed and he got it when he woke up.. at whatever subzero temp the room was then! He decided it was not worth wakng for and slept through from 5 days lol. Healthiest one of my lot that one!

Nene.. you don't need them.. and they would only talk crap and interfere if they were interested.. I am concerned about a similar lack of interest from OH's family if the baby is pink.. they are convinced it is a boy and will not accept the notion it might just not be.. it doesn't matter.. we will love them enough :D I had horrendous episiotomy and tearing with DS1 and couldn't walk properly for 2 weeks and anything else was impossible for weeks and weeks... the next one I had a tiny graze and all was fine.. stop worrying!! It will all be fine!!

I think I am dead today.. I just want to sleep.. I was awake at 6 again.. I am REALLY fed up now..

Not really as OH comes to all the appointments with me as he wants to be involved. Which is nice :)

Grrrrrrr  Bloomin' hospitals :mad::mad::mad: Just been to see my Doctor to get the prescription for the Heparin injections I'm supposed to start taking next week. As I suspected, the consultant at the hospital hasn't written to her to tell her what's happening, so she can't write the prescription. Got to wait now while she gets in touch with the hospital to find out what's going on.

And now the pregnancy hormones have finally caught up with me and I'm sitting here in tears as I'm sooo Pee-d off! Which is just silly - I should be happy that their incompetence gives me a few more days reprieve before I have to start sticking needles in myself! :p
