xmaslolly76 wrote: »Dream forgot to reply to your post about the feeding thingy if you believe you will use it then its not a waste of money but i personally have always taken bottles of water up with me and put powder in when needed. All three of mine have been room temperature fed with no problems the hospital dont warm the milk they give them so i dont see the point in doing it at home i think its a lot of faff for nothing.
I never warmed bottles 13 years ago for my daughter I made then up & then used them as & when needed. Never did her any harmIf you can think it........it will happen0 -

Tinks i did that with my first two as well but decided to compromise with the HV's advice this time and just make the water up first not one of them have ever had a tummy bug whilst on their bottles. to be honest with these bottles im glad i did as they leak constantly and the bag would have been good for nothing by now if it had been milk in them ewwwwwwww.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

swollen feet! does anyone else's feet get so swollen that they cannot get their trainers on? and also my foot is so swollen, its swallowing up my toes a little and I have a pins/needles type sensation in them... its just gotten really bad in the last week and its not as though it has been very hot particularly.
with the bottles, I would just put the cooled water in them too and add the powder as and when the bottle was needed. it saves a lot of time from storing in the fridge and then warming them up etcBSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

Been awake since 5 when i got up for the loo and thought I may as well get into work before it gets too busy and hot but train not til 7, so I need to leave in about 10 mins to get the bus.Dear_Prudence wrote: »Hiya, I have a load of spare blackout lining if you want me to send you some? It's pretty heavy so would need you to pay postage though!Dear_Prudence wrote: »Re: Stretch marks I would just use olive oil if you really want (it's a lot cheaper and healthier than bio oil!) but nothing can stop them appearing if they're gonna! I have none on my bump but loads on my bum... nice!
re swollen feet, mine have been mainly ok though my old sandals were pinching, bought some eart spirit ones these in a nicer colour and some with a toe post at the Outlet in York, they are divine and adjustable...might get some more if I can!
Have a good day all, I'm running a training day today so apart from when I first get in I won't be on.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Woo-hoo! Only listed my CBFM on eBay last night and already someone's bought it for the buy it now price of £60 :j So now I can finally buy a box for my wedding dress and also get some nice things for Flump
Thanks for the comments re the 250 mile drive. There is someone who lives fairly near me who could pick me up on her way, but unfortunately she's not one for social events so I doubt she'll be goingDH and I are off up north for a wedding 3 weeks before the golf day, which will be 250 miles each way. I'll have a go at driving some of the way for that to see how I get on, and in the meantime ask work to put me down as a possible attendee.
Swollen feet - I pretty much live in my flip flops now as can't bear to wear full shoes. Was up at the allotment yesterday and put my wellies on since we've had so much rain lately. They went on OK as it was early and my feet tend to settle down overnight. But by the time I came to take them off, my feet had swelled up inside them and they were well and truly stuck :rotfl: DH and I had a bit of a struggle to get them off.You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. Eeeeek... 1st antenatal class in a mo!!
And 1st RLT later!!
With DS's bottles I'm sure I made them up and put in fridge when needed... and he liked them cold! Thnigs are soooo different now. They can't possibly be made up in advance
Flip flops... I was destined to be heavily preg during summer cos I love flip flops and there's no way I can get any other shoes on!BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120
