Cheers kitkat i dont get that channel but never mind i could do without seeing glowing fresh faced teenagers giving birth at the minute lol :-)

Dream forgot to reply to your post about the feeding thingy if you believe you will use it then its not a waste of money but i personally have always taken bottles of water up with me and put powder in when needed. All three of mine have been room temperature fed with no problems the hospital dont warm the milk they give them so i dont see the point in doing it at home i think its a lot of faff for nothing.

Thats a very good tip for the moses basket sheets as well will give that one a go i can get pillow cases alot cheaper than sheets thanks :-)

Are crusty yellow bits on your nips normal?

I'm hoping it's just something to do with colustrum (sp?).

They'r hellishly sensitive at the moment, and cleaning the crusty bits off made me jump out of my skin a bit!

Can someone please tell me it's normal?

completly normal have had throughout pregnancy just use a warm flannel over them in bath then it comes away easily.

oooh meant to ask - how long does it take the HIPG to be paid please? I only sent the form away about 9 days ago in the post lol but I have my eye on a sofa bed on ebay!! :D

Mine took 13 days from posting off - had to keep checking my bank though as letter didn't come through until a few days after the money.

Anyone know how long sure start grant takes?

Re HIPG still haven't got mine, has been 3 weeks. Rang them last week and said may take 4 weeks, thing will ring them tomorrow then if yours has been very quick!!

    Hope you feel OK PP.

MV I get yellow crusty nips but doesn't hurt at all.

Had nieces and nephews over today - was very good practice, even was involved in a very wet bath time but was lovely. Can't wait even more for my bubs to be here.

And I have a week off, so glad as meant to be a scorcher tomorrow.

I wouldn't worry about picking the crusty bits off... They'll only crust over again... Just wash as normal and assume it'll get rubbed off in your bra lol...

So, this afternoon DS carried the shopping basket round the supermarket without being asked, packed the bags and carried to car. Asked if I'd mind cutting his hair then said he'd better get on with his homework which he did. He then politely asked if we could play Scrabble which we did for over 2 hours then told me how lovely tea was.

    Confused?
