Well I'm still here! Went to hospital, she checked my pad and said it was definitely waters (urrrr yes!) and put us on a trace for half an hour. She said everything was fine then sent us home until labour starts. If it doesnt then we need to go back at 8am tomorrow morning to be induced.

I managed a few hours sleep and am having some brekkie now to keep my energy up. Letting hubby sleep for as long as poss2! Was a bit worried about bubs as he hadn't really moved since I woke up but he's going again now, just not as much as before which I guess is pretty normal as it must all feel a bit strange for him now!

Keep those labour vibes coming, I want to meet my little man. It's a bit frustrating coz I want to walk around and bounce on my ball etc but it feels horrible when the waters just keep coming! Ah well after brekkie I'll just have to get on with things and ignore it coz he won't come while I'm sat on my backside lol

OH btw - I'm playing the gaviscon tablets! I had 4 before bed, lay down and felt sick, got up and walked around again and then got back in to bed and waters went lol. Definitely worth bearing in mind :)

Gill i hope things get moving for you soon. I agree it does feel weird when the waters keep coming only had it with the last one and it was well strange. Get on that ball and bounce him out. Have you got any of those pampers mats? it may be better to keep your lower half uncovered and let that catch all the liqour the ball is rubber so can be wiped clean really easy with some detol spray. I know it sounds yucky but end of the day will save you loads of washing :-) x

Oi! No queue jumping! Hope it goes naturally, how exciting! Good luck!

Weather is pants. Did not expect it (othewise would not have left the pram in the garden last night ). Yesterday was sooooo lovely. Can't even go to a last carboot... (addicted anyone?). And I have 15 loads of washing to do. Just as well, maybe I can get the house polished at last.

Apparently my son, who's staying at grandparents for the weekend is having a fab time. Except when he gets bored or tired. Then he starts packing his bags, takes his elephant and says "go home" before starting out the door :happyhear:happyhear:happyhear. Cute, heartbreaking, lovely, sweet. I do feel tiny pangs of guilt (esp when they phone me so I can hear for myself :() but it's really nice having these moments to ourselves.

Enjoy it whilst you can Agutka and dont feel guilty he'll be having a whale of a time. Hope the pram drys out ok.

We watched Avatar last night on blu ray and loved it, i didnt go to bed until 1am though , which doesnt help as having a stressful week at work has tired me out.

Im at the midwifes tomorrow and as Ive not felt any movements this week Im asking to hear the heartbeat. Im not too worried as im nearly 17 w and i have felt movements before but nothing this week , im sure its ok but its on my mind.

    WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GO GILL!!!!!

Ohhhh I get excited now when people got into labour, not that I wasn't before but I think now its because it's getting closer to me posting that its me going through it all LOL It all feels so real....

Bexta - I thought exactly the same thing..... and of course all I kept thinking about was a curry, and how they were all enjoying the best curry in the world! DH came home and I toddled off to bed. Had to get up when he came upstairs waddled with speed down the stairs and threw up!
And all night long I've had such bad heartburn. Propped up on about 6 pillows, still didnt help, hips are killing me!!!!

And still got heartburn! And now I'm all snotty and bleurgh....

And where's the sunshine! Its minging here, grey, overcast, drizzly, and I wanted to wear flip flops today (mainly coz my feet get too hot otherwise!)

    Shopping today, woohoo!!!!

Sw you have probably just not noticed with the stress you have had from work. I think thats why i didnt feel anything for ages i just wasnt taking any notice as squiggle was tossing and turning like a mad thing on my 20wk scan (which i couldnt feel) and ever since i have felt loads of movement
