The bins were sorted thru for recycling on Tuesday evening and put out wednesday, i hope my missing parcel wasnt in there!!! Well done with your bargains from asda! I love the playgym!!

Im disappointed with fedex, but so relieved to get some of my items! They really are lovely! Just got 2 sleepsuits, 2 velour blankets, booties and mittens to follow... hopefully!

    Welcome and Congrats Ladylegs!

Well I got up very early this morn to go to the local carboot, got some bargains that I will post details later when I have sorted through it (I dont dare list items now as I cant remember them all!!) Been in work since 10am and my back and hips are killing, I am incharge today so I told my volunteer I am finishing 2pm as my back is painful and I needa soak in the bath, he went abit nuts at me but I am only covering a colleague today so not got much motivation! Anyone else got major back problems?? Its AGONY :(

Hi kitkat-I have major back problems so I can understand how you feel.
I've had major spinal surgery twice and my back is held together with metal plates, baby is big and my back pain which is always agony anyway is 100 times worse now.I can't move or turn without help and can barely leave the house.Have had to stay at mums as she has a bathroom downstairs which makes life easier for me.I don't know how I'm going to manage until june.

    Courgette-Hope your feeling better now:)
Cafc-Love your canvas and the design :)

quick question-are those headshaper pillows necessary for baby? The kind that encourage a round shaped head.Noticed some on ebay.

Labour and health and happy vibes to all those that need/want them:)

Sonne with 3 and one on the way i have never used a head shaper pillow Ds1 had a flat head for a few months but once he was rolling around in his sleep it went away quite quickly. To be honest unless there is a serious problem in which case the doctor should supply anything you need i would say they are just another gimmick :-)

Not to mention the fact that I told him to move all the stuff off the hanging rail we had been using as a wardrobe, but no Mr Clever Pants says its got wheels so he will wheel it, and then the whole thing collapses and he gets a cob on!

oh well baby wardrobe is done, so Ive been putting all the older clothes, outfits and bulky stuff in there. Trying to find where I can get another hanging rail from to fit inside it so I can make it two tiered.....

And then shopping tomorrow is all about the storage baskets..... This baby has so much stuff!!!
Thinking I may also get a changing table from Ikea as well, just the sniglar one. We have an old kitchen table we were gonna use but its taking up quite a bit of wall space now, and I need a second shelf underneath it....

Time to talk nicely to the grandparents me thinks :)

wilkinsons sell them think they are about £3 will prob have to cut to size, we got one from there few yrs back when moved into this house to put in the cupboard over the bulkhead on stairs in our room so I could have extra hanging space.

Hope both KitKat and Courgette feel better soon.

I'm exhausted now did the gardening in a beautiful day but had to take more breaks than usual. Also wasn't helped by our neighbour deciding to put their music on at 1 in the morning as woke up to a bass in my ears, thankfully in back bedroom was bearable - can't wait for screaming baby to wake them up - hehehe!!

Just come out in spots on my cheeks, been red for a few days and now turned to spots. Anyone else had this, will have to get the concealer out for work on Monday.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend we hope to be going to seaside tomorrow with my niece and nephews so looking forward to that.

I'd be practically wetting myself with excitement if I were you Agutka.....

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Let's see. I wet myself when laughing, coughing, gagging (??), but not with excitement. I'll have enough of that in the next few weeks. I am hoping however to enjoy the newborn thing more now that I know more what I'm doing. I cannot for the life of me remember the first week of Joseph's life. Too busy being upset I suppose. Happy BDay to hubby!

I'm so jealous....wish I knew I was going to have my baby in 2 days! Did you manage to find someone to have Joseph while you go in

Yes, mil coming monday night till friday, then my mum says she'd rather wait till I'm all alone, so a fortnight. Not that she won't be here every day to check on us anyway...
It's really odd knowing the time. Where's the excitement of waiting for twinges. I'm having little regrets that I can't do it naturally. Since this is our last . Oh well, just think if all the problems I'll avoid :T:D

thanks freebie, will try and get there tommorrow or monday.

xmas - hadn't thought bout vacuum packs. we've got drawers as well which are full of vest, sleepsuits, grows etc up till 9 months so its not too bad. i think i just want it to look better LOL

Also now have a whole drawer of baby wipes, 19 packs so far LOL not to mention the small travel packs of wipes that I got £1 for 3 LOL

Will try and take a new photo of baby's room later on.
Hubby has gone out for a curry with my dad and sort of BIL. Apparently the other women folk dont like curry, and i felt a bit bleurgh going being the only woman, and at the time i wasnt feeling THAT hungry.... but now of course, i want curry.... packet of quavers, wotsits, glass of pepsi and kit kat chunky just arent doing it for me LOL

Also have two new wardrobes complete in bedroom, which i then tidied. now looks like a proper grown ups bedroom LOL as opposed to student digs xx

Ohhhh just posted for my first items off freecycle.
It's been my mum getting things off the group local to her and bringing them up for me, but I've joined our one now.

Someone has a bulk load of pregnancy/birth/parenting magazines, dating back about 3 years apparently, might have some useful in them, and also has an unused TT nappy bin (no cassettes though) so have asked for that as well.

After we've used all these things, we're going to stick them back on freecycle and spread the love :)
