Morning ladies (and Bufger!)
Well an interesting night for me, spent it in the delivery suite! My pelvic pain suddenly got much worse to the point where I couldn't stand up, rang the docs who said ring the hosp who said go in. Turns out the pain was only ligament stretching pain, but my God it hurt! I have no memory at all of that with DS. All's well with munchkin and we got to hear the heart again. We also got to hear the sounds of ladies giving birth :eek:_pale_:rotfl:
Gonna take it easy this weekend though, hubby can wait on me hand and foot I reckonUpdating soon...0 -
KitKat - I bet you Fedex have them and they've dropped it in the bin.....
When do you bins get collected? If they put them in there, and then they got picked up, have your other 2 parcels ended up at the tip???!!!
The bins were sorted thru for recycling on Tuesday evening and put out wednesday, i hope my missing parcel wasnt in there!!! Well done with your bargains from asda! I love the playgym!!
Im disappointed with fedex, but so relieved to get some of my items! They really are lovely! Just got 2 sleepsuits, 2 velour blankets, booties and mittens to follow... hopefully!
Welcome and Congrats Ladylegs!
Well I got up very early this morn to go to the local carboot, got some bargains that I will post details later when I have sorted through it (I dont dare list items now as I cant remember them all!!) Been in work since 10am and my back and hips are killing, I am incharge today so I told my volunteer I am finishing 2pm as my back is painful and I needa soak in the bath, he went abit nuts at me but I am only covering a colleague today so not got much motivation! Anyone else got major back problems?? Its AGONY0 -

Courgette - Glad everything at hospital was ok
I've been out for a macdonalds breakfast with hubby and mum this morning and then walked round to my sisters for a chat (and to use her bathroom), am knackered!
Hubby's fixing up the baby wardrobe which my dad really wanted to help him with tomorrow (he's out on a day trip today) but no hubby has to get started on it, just come downstairs in a strop because when we moved in my dad bought up a electric drill (which he then took home with him) and hubby wants this drill because his arms are now aching. Told him he should have left it till tomorrow and then he's just moaned at me..........
Ruddy men! LOL
Anyway I've just kept myself out the way downstairs with the dog.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Courgette glad everything is ok with baby. I had ligament pain last time round at it isnt funny at all. Fingers crossed i havent had it this time but im not counting my chickens yet :-)
Kitkat your a better woman than me i just coudlnt drag myself out of bed this morning lol.
Cafc your right stay out of the way far easier all round :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Not to mention the fact that I told him to move all the stuff off the hanging rail we had been using as a wardrobe, but no Mr Clever Pants says its got wheels so he will wheel it, and then the whole thing collapses and he gets a cob on!
oh well baby wardrobe is done, so Ive been putting all the older clothes, outfits and bulky stuff in there. Trying to find where I can get another hanging rail from to fit inside it so I can make it two tiered.....
And then shopping tomorrow is all about the storage baskets..... This baby has so much stuff!!!
Thinking I may also get a changing table from Ikea as well, just the sniglar one. We have an old kitchen table we were gonna use but its taking up quite a bit of wall space now, and I need a second shelf underneath it....
Time to talk nicely to the grandparents me thinksWealth is not measured by currency0 -
kitkat, I have the occasional episode of back pain and it is rather horrific. Nothing you can do about it, unlike other pains, just wait for it to pass. I suppose that's why I had an epidural immediately with a back to back baby last time.
Hubby and I are having a great time today. Joseph is at grandparents and we're sorting the house out really slowly, but with loads of laughter. Hope it stays this way, cause it's really relaxing. Might even go out for a meal if we're good.
Two and a half more days EEK! When should I pack my hospital bags? It's funny. Normally I would have done it weeks ago, just in case, but because I know the date I'll leave it to Monday night probably. No need to stress about these minor things. I know everything I need is in the house. Even magazines to read.

I'd be practically wetting myself with excitement if I were you Agutka.....
Just pack them whenever you fancy it....
Your baby and my hubby will have same birthday....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

I'm so jealous....wish I knew I was going to have my baby in 2 days! Did you manage to find someone to have Joseph while you go in?
Welcome to the newbies btw
ETA does anyone know if gaviscon tablets are safe to use while pregnant? The local shops near us don't have the liquid, only the tablets, and I can't have another night of suffering!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Feel like an old woman the way I am hobbling with my back! I have been given a 'special' chair for being pregnant by the board of managers, and that seems to have helped my back, just sitting in it for a while
but I am still guna soak in the bath when I finish (yes I am still in work
)
Thanks Xmas, I wouldnt say I was a better woman just nuts! I am pleased tho as I got some good stuffcant wait to sort through it wen i get home (i wander if i can do this from the bath
) lol. Only prob is I got up 6.45am to go to car boot, working 10am til 4pm and then a leaving party tonight for a colleague tonight at 7pm, how am i guna stay awake!?!
Also ordered a pooh bear changing matt, pooh sleepsuit vest bib hat and grobag egg temperature thing from littlewoods as they sent me a voucher code so I got it all for £25not bad. I know the egg temp thing isnt vital, but the temp in bubs room is so up and down, this would help me keep an eye on it and know how many sheets/ etc to use when the time comes.
