BABY NAMES - Our little bump when she arrives will be 'Holly May' which we both like plus it was the only name we both suggested and agreed on. Although we didn't realise it is actually more apt than it first seems as 1. We found out I was pregnant just after Christmas last year and she came as a surprise to us - especially at the dating scan when we thought we were 6 weeks and turned out to be 16!!! and 2. I'm a huge Christmas freak (i love it) I start talking and planning for it in July! so holly seemed perfect. x
Morning all
Well I am STILL here but only hoepfully for a matter of hours and not days still!
Today is D day! :T:T:T:T:T and although I cant wait and am excited that she will come today, I'm also really hormonal and emotional - not sure if its nerves at what is about to come, or the fact I've been counting it down because last time I was induced it was a case of 'I went for an appointment 8 days over, they gave me a sweep and fitted me in that night' so I had no time to think about it. Plus I'm in a new hospital this time too in an area I don't really know is possibly making me uneasy but trying to chill as more of my friends/family are nearer to this hospital so if they keep me in I'll have visitors to see me.
Possibly to do with the fact too that I left my little boy at his grandmas last night - I've only ever left him over night 4 times and he is 6 years old, so all last night I kept checking on him and he wasn't there.
Hoping boyfriend will be ok today - he had eye surgery a few months back and it looked to be healing really well, doctors were happy, told him to come off his meds and in the last few days his eye has gone really red and really sore. No idea whats wrong with it but hes off to clinic now on Wednesday to get it seen too - cant have it like that long as it might mean the 3rd operation he has had on it now has rejected again! As a result though its been putting his balance off and making him dizzy!
Right well I've eaten my toast, drank my tea, done my dishes, tidied living room - I know WHY???????? - hospital bag is packed, notes are ready, Owen's camera is charged, phone charger will go in the bag now, will take my iron tablet in a bit, go for a shower, and then it will be time to leave I think.
So looking forward to some much longed for mummy cuddles now! so if you dont hear from me for a while -
:D:D:D:D
T minus - 1 hour, 20 minutes until I leave for hospital. x x x
Good luck Sammy!!!! Mummy cuddles soon from baby Holly :j :jDebt Free Wannabe - work in progress and maternity leave is going to hinder somewhat, but we *WILL* be debt free.

GOOD LUCK SAMMY!! Love the name

On names, I've gone against all my principles and pretty much told everyone our girl's name, which is 'Isla Rose'. DH is the one who really really wanted it, and I do like it, the only prob is I think she would have to spell it her whole life, and our surname is already not the easiest to spell.
For a boy, we totally can't agree, so if it is a blue bundle it'll remain nameless for a few days! I like 'William' and 'Benjamin' but DH is going through a phase of Old Testament type names and the latest suggestions are 'Micah' and 'Jeremiah'!!
No one's been really mean, in fact when I say Isla Rose everyone seems to really like it, I don't think my mum does much but hey ho, she will like it when it's born! The other day I mentioned how we used to really like Noah for a boy though and she went off on one about how much she can't stand people calling their kids Noah! I bet if I had said we still liked it she would have just gone really quiet cos that's what she does when she doesn't like something
Started cutting the material for my cot quilt last night... got a few cushion covers to make as well. DH put up the blinds in the nursery and our room last night, nursery is starting to look finished now!
Need to go and get new paint to do the chest of drawers this morning and crack on with that...
Ooh and if you want a simple yummy recipe for choc muffins try this, I made it yesterday and they look exactly like the picture and taste goooood!

Prudence, you should tell him if he really wants old testament he should go for something like Nebuchadnezzar... I suggested it to hubby the other night but he didn't seem keen...

Sammy good luck, hope you see Holly soon.
Labour vibes to other ladies that need them xx
DP I wanted Rose if bump was a girl, but couldn't have Isla as guy at work has that name!! I also was thinking of William but couldn't do Benjamin as is name of my ex!! DH's only suggestion has been Horatio - could you imagine and his surname begins with a H.
More baby news my end as my cousin has annouced she is 12 weeks pregnant and due mid Jan, so all 4 cousins in our family will have LOs by then!Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces
