Ive never had a problem with either of my mils the ex's mill had had problems with her pregnancies and births and never breast fed so never pressured me in anyway and the new one is so laid back she could go through life horizontal she just says its up to me what i do. Only time she said anything about anything to me is when we told her i was pregnant again and questioned weather i was sure i would cope with 4 of them especially as i had only just had bubs. I said it would be hard but i would manage like everyone else does. She worries as Sil doesnt seem to be coping very well with her third one but then her dad passed away a week ago and new baby is only 7wks old so she is at her moms all the time but then she is going to be finding it difficult right now i'm sure she will come good.

Just got back from what turned out to be a long appointment with midwife. She's worried about things so spent alot of time talking to various people at the hospital on the phone about moi:o

Bad news: got an emergency appointment at hosp for thurs

Good news: midwife knows how much I want to know flavour/not bonding with bump so has been pushing for another scan:j Everyone she spoke to she said "I really think she needs a scan" whilst grinning at me... bless her:D Don't know for sure if I'm having one so she has her fingers crossed.

I've got to rest and not do too much.

My MIL (who I have never met or never will) is a......... I'm afraid I can't say:p DH was fostered by idiots so I don't even have a pretend MIL... and DH doesn't have a MIL either cos I don't have a mum. We feel lucky not to have in laws;):p

Kitkat... me and Blowingbubbles: we flirted in The Arms, PM'd which led to MSN. Then it was endless phonecalls. Had a MSE online wedding:o:rotfl: We knew we had to meet up BUT he lived Essex me Devon:( I arranged to go London to meet him in the January 2008 but by xmas 07 we couldn't wait so he travelled to Exeter (1hr30min bus ride for me) a few days after xmas. Nearly got kicked out of pub for snogging too much!!;) We then met up every other weekend with him having longer stays with me cos of DS:D He moved in with me the May, proposed to me on my 30th bday in the June, married xmas eve 2008 then made this little bean on our 1 year wedding anniv xmas eve 2009:D:D:D

I only came on MSE because of Boots bargains and ended up with a man *sigh*:p

    Sorry for long post:o

Tinks you asked about the hauck Condor I bought one for bubs and i have found it brilliant only little niggle i had was the design of the bag that comes with it i found it awkward so just used the free boots one so no biggy the actual pushchair was fab( it fold like a buggy but is obviously bigger) and the carrycot is very sturdy and a good size same for the carseat. I have the black one with lime green rings pattern it is relagated to the garage at the moment until i can decide what i want to do with it. :-)

Awwww:) Neither of us could drive so it was trains for us 4/5 hour journeys:eek: We used stay in hotels at half way points between us though. And he did most of the very long journeys cos it was easier for him to stay with me cos of DS;)

This is making me wonder how many of us met our OH's online. I got mine from person.com he seemed so young and naive which worried me a little at first but he was such a gentleman couldn't resist him and he has stepped up to the mark better than my older kids own dad ever did. :-)

i went to primary school with my DH :)

went our seperate ways when we were 11...... get to 24, message sent on FB, got a bit flirty, he came down to see me, hour long drive, stayed the night (shhhh) and the next day proposed to me..... 6 months later got married in NYC and the rest blah blah blah LOL....

Even more freakishly..... we had the same surname before we got married..... (and no we're not related LOL).... so really I had to marry him.... saved on the paperwork :)

If you jsut hang on for a sec there are others (the usual suspects - you know who you are!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: ) and loads of them have iron issues-plenty of advice to help here

My 12 week bloods were taken, I fainted, they then lost the results, so not had blood info for 7 years, just assuming all ok! I have 12 week bloods, 28 weeks bloods and GTT all to be done on the same day.........17th August!:eek::eek:

I'm a fainter too, but have managed NOT to in all my bloods and injections (I'm a rhesus neg, so have to have the anti d injections and have had to have 2 lots of extra bloods taken to check my liver function) and my veins are also rubbish and hide when the needle goes in they usually have to jab 3 or 4 times to get it.
Anyway, ask to lie down and then bend your knees. If your knees are higher than your heart it's near impossible to faint. Breathe slowly and deeply and count back from 100. Seriously, I'm the most squeamish person ever and I have never fainted doing this.
Also, ask your doc to prescribe emla cream. It numbs the area you put it on an hour before and then you can't feel the needle go in. I haven't tried it yet because stupidly I only realised I could get it last week at my 28 week bloods. We get it free with our maternity exemption cards YAY! :j
