Mine is only after molesting my children according to KH.. though I am yet to see evidence of anyone being molested other than me..
.. apparently he is just a opportunist after nothing but a quick s**g.. think he got far far more than he bargained for if that was the case!!
Smartie.. I have made quite sure DD1 knows how to operate the washing machine.. the cooker/oven is easy enough and the rest will be here when I get back.. I hope.. And.. they can only make you stay if YOU let them.. I'd not stay unless it was absolutely imperative to the baby's survival.. ok.. so I'd not stay unleSS I was sedated and chained to the bed frame and locked in a room with no windows or doors!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

To be fair DS is quite capable of looking after himself. He was my carer for years when I was very poorly so had to cook etc.
I'm more worried about the cats!!:rotfl:
I don't think they'll want me to stay anyway as I know they're really short staffed so I think it's going to be a case of regular appointments. Midwife is hoping they'll just say to see her every week as she thinks the hospital is a bit rubbish and she would rather keep an eye on things!
I'm just hoping to get my extra scan and view of man/lady bits:DBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

Hi ladies
Met one of my exes online too and we were really happy until, er, we split up :rotfl:Met hubby a few weeks later at a new temporary job I'd taken. Funny how things work out
Feel slightly more cheerful today which is lucky for the world. I now have 7 more work mornings until mat leave :j:j:j:j I just cannot explain how happy I am about that. I'm suddenly feeling very squashed, breathless, constipated, when babe moves it actually verges on painful now. 35 weeks tomorrow though - seems to have flown byUpdating soon...0 -

this is part of my reasoning for not wanting to know the gender. I don't think I'd be able to cope with the shock of getting a different gender from what I'd been expecting. Although, I'm so convinced this one is a girl that I'm a tiny bit worried about how I'll feel if it's a lad. Totally happy to have either, just being so convinced is a bit weirdUpdating soon...0 -
Hi everyone, hope we're all well today.
I also met my DH online at Match.com in March 2008, Married in September 2009, Expecting little babybean in August 2010.
I know what you mean though Smartie, I'm packing all of my bags myself (Labour, Birth and Baby) as I'm pretty sure DH will lose it when stressed!
Only just got around to buying the bags this weekend so half packed and half not atm!
And as for MIL's.... mine is a complete nightmare!
She has never liked me as "I'm not good enough for her son" (only child). To the point that she STILL hasn't shown an interest in the baby. Last thing she ever said about the baby was when I was 7 weeks pregnant and that was that she was going to tell everyone in the pub that she goes to on a weekly basis that I was pregnant and she was going to be a grandma (to get free drinks! () I asked her very politely not to do this, as I didn't want anyone to know until I was 12 weeks and I would let people know that needed to when the time was right for me. She took offense big time as she is the sort of person who likes to be the centre of attention. I think she thought I was trying to take this away from her!
Nothing since. And I mean absolutely nothing. She hasn't bought anything for the baby, she hasn't asked if it's a boy or a girl and doesn't want to know, she hasn't asked if bump is ok, she doesn't even want to know when he's due.
It's breaking my DH's heart as he used to be relatively close to his parents and she doesn't want anything to do with me or bubs (it's his first child and their first grandchild). They live 55 miles away from us and are retired and don't want to even make the trip to see him when he's born.
DH has now got to the point that if they don't want to know that he doesn't even want to tell them when Kai is born which I don't agree with. I am trying to talk him around, and may text/call myself if necessary as I do like to see the best in people.... but she is pushing it!
MIL's hey! Just the stress you need when you're pregnant!

Oh, and TMI question: why are my knickers permanently wet? Is this just pelvic floor muscles not being able to cope with the elephant pounding away on top of them?Updating soon...0

Baby names ours remains nameless still cant decide!!
All our family live 200miles away which is a good thing most of time as we dont get dragged into any family dramas (my family), husbands family arent brillant at keeping in touch. His mum is ok in small doses I did say do not invite her to stay after the baby is born I do not need her help - that would drive me mad!!0
