LOL.. you produce extra vaginal fluid when pregnant.. due to hormones and extra blood supply.. it may also be a degree of urine leakage.. PELVIC FLOOR EXERCISES!!!!!!!!!.. and also it has been very hot to sweaty bits are inevitable.. so long as it doesn't smell or itch it isn't anything to fret about.

    Am I a know-all or something???

Freebie.. if OH's mum wanted to come stay after the baby arrives I thin I migth shoot myself.. I honestly would have to kill one or the other of us!! My mother will come if I ask her to and sod off if I ask her too.. and I feel quite ok saying.. 'I am going to bed for a bit.. you can stay or go.. I don't care.. I just need sleep!'

My MIL is going to be coming either just after baby is born or around time it is due - I am sort of glad she is coming from the point of view that she will be there to keep an eye on ds 1 & 2 if I go into labour in the middle of the night etc but when MIL & FIL are here I find it harder to relax in my own home and definitely do not feel comfortable breastfeeding in front of them :( so if they are here I will be closeting myself away in the bedroom for the BF part as I want to be private and feel relaxed when I am trying to succeed at it this time! :)

My sister is coming too but I don't mind that at all lol! :D

Thanks PP, and glad to know it's not just me Smartie :D

Who was asking about the name Corin earlier? I have a friend with a boy called Corin and so I only know it as a boy's name. The female variant is Corinne I thought

It was me! So far it's my new favourite name, although that could change yet!

Been to see the consultant this afternoon and had another scan (I've got gestational diabetes so they scan me every 4 weeks). His growth has dropped off very rapidly. At the 28 week scan 4 weeks ago he was on the 97th percentile, today he was only on the 47th. They said it was quite rare to have a drop like that, but as they only started me on Insulin and Metformin tablets 4 weeks ago they aren't sure whether the slow down is due to the medication or whether it would have happened anyway.

Sooo, they're going to rescan in 2 weeks to see what the growth is like then, if it hasn't picked up they will get him out. I have to go back tomorrow for steroid injections which will strengthen his lungs incase he makes an appearance at 34 weeks. I have to stay in for 48 hours for monitoring as the steroids can increase blood sugar levels. Oh joy :(

the steroids have no real effect on the development of the lungs either.. according to 2 neonatal consultants I've seen who obviously deal with babies on a day to day basis who have and have not have steroids before birth.. they are just routinely given.. but delivery at 34 weeks baby would not have problems breathing anyway probably.. then mine born at 31 weeks had no problem either!

Oh poo durham girl... but as pigpen says try not to worry:)

Emsy - I only have the 1 bag BUT I feel silly taking baby stuff in at 31 weeks (unless they want baby out) so have done a "just me bag" incase I go in. When I reach a bit further along I shall pop my "me" stuff back in my proper hospital bag. I hope that makes sense??;)
