There's a girl called Corin in Big Brother at the moment so there will no doubt be a few Corins born this year!:p

When I googled the name, she came up along with Corin Redgrave and Corin Nemec, so by the law of averages it's mostly a boys name! Anyway she looks like a man in drag :D

Can you tell I really like it? :o

Re: Names; we talked about this last night, we've decided on a boys name :D but are a bit indecisive on a girls name, I think the first name will begin with a K despite OHs surname beginning with a K as its a name we've both always liked. We are going to leave the final decision until the baby is born and see what suits at the time, as we are both so confused!!

Smartie: I would love to know the story of how you and Blowingbubbles met? :p

Is anyone feeling pressured into BFing? I wasn't until recently, when the MIL started going on about it. She keeps saying how I have to, getting real sick of her attitude to be honest. If I cant do it I cant do it! She was pestering OH about it the other day and he said I might not be able to do it as I am a bit.. erm.. sensitive... in that area, she kindly decided to announce to all of his family (mainly men) that I could get a cream for this (erm.. I know this) and she also kindly told them how I had been leaking for weeks (thanks to OH blimmin telling her ) I was not best pleased, not exactly something I wanted announcing to a bunch of blokes that I know will take the mick

    I HATE MILS!

Is anyone feeling pressured into BFing? I'd like to see anyone try and give me grief! :D:D DD is by far youngest in her school year and is the tallest girl, and she was bottlefed!

    I HATE MILS!

    Wish I had a MIL :o

KK - (Sorry lurking again) if you're feeling pressured and stressed out about it due to MIL's unreasonable latest demand then it probably wont work out for you, I was so stressed out with breastfeeding in the hospital, and Im pretty sure that if I hadn't been so hyped up with negative emotion, then Landen and I would have managed it. Im convinced he can pick up on my emotional state..... so point out to OH (and tell him he can tell MIL) that because of all the pressure shes putting you under, if breastfeeding doesnt work out it'll be all her fault....
That'll soon shut her up (hopefully, well until the next thing no doubt)

I was bottlefed and I dont think Im lacking in any way.... well maybe apart from height but I blame that on my genetics, not my feeding regime as a tot!

Kitkat - MIL's are a law unto their own. Mine has been pestering us to get married and have more kids etc. I announced that I was pregnant and now she is freaking out that DD1 will be left out. That woman is never happy I dont even bother trying I just do what I please and let her know through courtesy, and if she disagrees its tough poopoo, she's lived her life its my turn now...grrrr sorry.

Breastfeeding I am not designed for it... I do have boobs butthey dont work. After3 months of breast feeding for 30 mins and expressing for 30 mins, formula feeding 30 mins every 3 hours for 3 months I had a break down and decided life was too short and as a result I dont have much recollection of the 1st 3 months of DD. I will not be making the same mistake again. I will try for 2 weeks and if its not working I will be giving him/her formula.

There my two penneth on two grrrrrr subjects lol
    DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
    DD1 arrived 20/05/09 10lb3oz

Lol PP! Do you have any 'feeling' on when baby will be making an appearance? I know that you have had all yours early and wondered if you have any signs that delivery is imminent?!

In the next week probably.. I'm getting regular rounds of BH's.. had 2 shows and leaky waters.. cervix is low and baby is engaged.. it is not permitted to arrive on the 26th as that is DD2's birthday. I just want to get past next Wednesday when they finish school.

MIL's.. mine lives over 100 miles away and will be a nightmare .. she doesn't like anyone disagreeing with her and I do NOT do as I am told.. and I am a terrible influence on her son.. encouraging him to not get his hair cut so he looks like a mushroom.. and encourage him to stay here and not visit there on his own.. though I wouldn't ever stop him if that was what he wanted!! Anyone who wants her can have her! She will hate whatever name we choose for the baby just out of principal rather than not liking it.. and she will probably object to its gender as well... and I will absolutely breastfeed far too long/far too often/far too publicly etc...

I do wonder how long it will be before I tell her to eff off and my baby my way and what has been good enough for my other 8 who have all turned out pretty ok will quite definitely be good enough for this one!
