Do you feel ok and is there any reason you should be worried about your blood results if not then i would just wait for your 28wk ones but thats just me.

Nope, I feel fine, bit of 2nd trimester bloom :D

No worries about bloods, know blood group etc from previous pregnancy.

Will wait til 28 weeks I think then do it in one go......unless i feel especially brave at hosp :rotfl:

Might go and see how bad the queue is.....if I can be seen swiftly I might just do it

Bunny strangely enough i seem to be able to pallet the tea this time round couldnt stand it with bubs however i do have to let it go cold i cant drink it warm. Its strange my taste buds have gone really weird with this pregnancy most of the things i liked before i find vile and the things i hated are now palletable :-)

I have been lurking and looking at all the new arrivals, but haven't posted for a while tut tut.

I am nearly 29 weeks pregnant and my blood pressure is still 140/90, so my midwife sent me off to hospital yesterday. There is no protein in my urine which they said is a good sign. I will now have to be checked weekly and have a growth scan at 32 weeks.

Obviously I am really worried (not good for high blood pressure), is there anything I can be doing myself to try to get it lower?

I am not in a stressful job and I get home and lay on the sofa most night, do I actually need more exercise?

Feeling awful today, got my first headache of the pregnancy (probably due to the stress of rushing down to hospital yesterday) has anyone else had this?

    Clare x

xmas, I'm not usually one for fruit teas at all, but i can drink it hot or cold, lol ahh well, at least i can enjoy it.
someone asked at parentcraft last night when are we able to have raspberyy leaf tea and she said 37 weeks, my hubby gave me a bit of a look, I said trust me, it says on MSE. lol and I am only having 1 cup a day.
Clare - a bit of light exercise, like a walk etc will help for around 30 mins a day if possible, cut out any caffiene your having and try to eat as healthily as possible, cut out salt where possible and saturated fats.
Try not to worry (easier said than done)
  • Clare - I had headaches constantly from week 18 to week 21.

Apparently this was due to the hormones, but they were pretty grim!

I got some 4head stuff and took paracetamol when necessary and it helped to ease it a bit.

Touch wood, I'm 33 weeks now and haven't had any since.

    xx

Funny you should say that Bunny my friend was told 37wks as well by her midwife its probably just them being over cautious as per usual my own midwife had no problems with me starting them at 32wks infact she positively encouraged it :-)
