Morning all
Hope today isn't as bad as you think it's gonna be PP! xx
I actually managed a pretty good night's sleep, think it was a combination of being propped up with an extra impromptu pillow, wedged in with my maternity pillow and having the fan on. Managed to sleep till 8:45 with 3 loo breaks so that's pretty much a record I think...
On last lot of baby washing today, woohoo! Then need to clean the front door and maybe start painting the chest of drawers for the nursery...
Tinkwings for bloating I would recommend dried apricots, tons of water, doing your 'relax your pelvic floor' exercises when you go to to the loo (and keep your jaw really relaxed, sounds mental but it works), pulses like green lentils, rocket, etc.
This is my first pregnancy and I have an anterior placenta and I first felt the baby properly kick at 19 weeks, and then didn't start feeling it regularly till about 21 weeks.
Looks like another nice sunny day again so better get outside and do the door!

I've just eaten most of a packet of go-ahead thingys because they were reduced
Is anyone else really struggling with food? I find I have cereal for dinner a lot, and on a good few days have skipped it altogether because I can only seem to face sweet things, I've got really fussy about bread etc and I keep going and opening the cupboard/fridge, and just thinking 'nope' and sitting down with a yogurt or similar?
I'm eating loads of fruit to sort of balance the vitamins I'm not getting (probably why I had a funny turn earlier) but that has it's own disastrous side effects!
Please please tell me it's not just me:o
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I have a pain in my right hip today, anyone know what it could be??? I was thinking trapped wind but after a few releases it's still there! Could it be from bubs growing?? It seems to be more around the bone though! and is stretching down my leg to my knee
Gah, it feels like a really bad period pain(is there a good kind?? lol) and paracetamol is really not touching the sides:( This is the 1st miserable pregnancy thing I've had since ms! Was hoping I'd get away with any of the negative parts of being pg:p
Hope alls well with everyone xxx
Hi Confuzzled, might be worth you doing a urine sample for your midwife - I have had absolute horrible hip and back pain for the past day and saw my MW this morning who confirmed what I thought - got Nitrates in my urine and therefore a possible UTIshe is sending my sample away for further tests so might get antibiotics.
I could barely stand on my left leg at all due to the pain and it hurt when trying to walk. It was a shooting stabbing pain going from my hip and right through to my back.
Hope it is not that but best maybe to get checked?
