Apparently it will help speed things up!!!
Let him give you a piggy back then:p...you'll get the jiggling to help bubs move but without having to stop every 10steps for a contraction:rotfl::rotfl:

Yeah I'm in littleover, oh says I can walk to the hospital when I go into labour!!!!

Goodness, that reminds me of when i was in labour with my now 2 1/2 year old. Oh decided to park in the multistorey car park at 2am and that we'd walk to labout suite which is normally only a 7 minute walk....i was having contractions every 2 minutes, must have looked a right plonker on cctv! lol
She did come really quickly tho

    Afternoon all

Just back from school run and shopping.

Went to see consultant who checked baby and she is now 2/5ths palpitable - so she is moving in the right direction!

Had another sweep done and was expecting her to say plug was intact still and I had only lost a bit of it but instead she said she had her finger inside  my cervix and was feeling the babies head so she was stimulating the membrane - which yes it hurts! and I've been having period cramps on and off since. Walked down the school and they are there but not timeable but she said it can take 24 - 48hrs for a sweep to have effect and it wasn't until the next morning i lost my plug with the last one so fingers crossed contractions will start later - if not I'm having another sweep on Saturday morning at home from the midwife and if I still have no luck - then Holly will be evicted on the 13th July.

Although am freaking out slightly at the minute because Owen has gone out riding and I've just realised his car keys are on the computer desk so I've text him asking if he has a van or is being dropped off and had no reply - I'm hoping he knows he's left them behind though.

My birthing partner stand in is his mother though and she has said that she is staying home tonight in case my contractions suddenly start becoming regular etc but her husband is taking her car to her other grandsons presentation which basically means - Owen at this point in time is car less because i don't know if he knows his car keys are at home, my mother in law doesn't have her car as her hubby needs it and the hospital i have to go to is 30 minutes away and I still need to get Owen there (its 15 minutes form where hes going) and I need to get Ben to my mother in laws who is 10 minutes from me!

    and I have back ache!
    Time to find me again

    Afternoon all

Meant to be working from home today as had someone to fix our internet and waiting for a delivery of mat reduced stuff from New Look. I say meant to be as got really bad nausea, not sure if it is the heat or just cos I'm getting bigger.

Anyway I did do some stuff and was using DH's computer, was e-mailing it back to work and it went to a file location that contained something I guess I shouldn't have seen. So I went to that file location (half hidden in a new folder) and is a lot of pictures there (nothing illegal, but pics of women in underwear!!). I feel a bit put out that he has hidden this, but I guess this is a guy thing - should I say anything?? Sorry is non-preg related but is stressing me a bit.

    And good luck Sammy xx

I have a pain in my right hip today, anyone know what it could be??? I was thinking trapped wind but after a few releases it's still there! Could it be from bubs growing?? It seems to be more around the bone though! and is stretching down my leg to my knee :(
Gah, it feels like a really bad period pain(is there a good kind?? lol) and paracetamol is really not touching the sides:( This is the 1st miserable pregnancy thing I've had since ms! Was hoping I'd get away with any of the negative parts of being pg:p
sounds quite like what I've had...I am wondering if it's sciatica as I know it's not as bas as SPD and only in one hip/leg/back...plus today a gentle walk to the station helped.

I managed the day out well, with regular sit downs. We had a lovely time and a nice posh lunch (bargain at £15 each for 3 courses!). I was very icky on the train this am which seemed to p DH off (why?!) but thankfully passed once I got off. Not looking forward to next week and being back commuting.

pigpen sorry you feel !!!!!!, not sure there's anything I can say to help!

Had an email from the local real nappy network saying that they are now doing a £30 incentive scheme :) So have got my application form, sir monster do you want the details? I think it's basically £30 of free stuff (if you don't want it you could get it for me :D:rotfl:)
