    That is lovely.

I have one from "The Book People" website and one from Mothercare.

I do love the homemade ones though, or at least, ones that look homemade!

Still debating a little keepsake box though for newspapers etc.

I love the book people! I bought my DD1 a whole MASSIVE box of books for her upcoming birthday and it cost less than £20 :D

Im due today, and had hoped to wake in pain after 3 weeks of niggles and one false alarm.

What happens nada zilcho. In fact never felt better. Been out gardening, racking the lawn, weeding and hosing the lawn and all I got with a couple of BH.

Im really bored, been off work now for three weeks.

But somehow I feel different today, cant quite put my finger on it though and it got me thinking.

Before going into labour with obvious signs of it being imminent did anyone have any other signs. Ie where you out shopping in the morning feeling completely normal and then suddenly change, did you feel different before going into labour?

Sorry I know I probably havent explained myself very well, perhaps its like sixth sense afterall were all supposed to be more intune with our bodies.

    Any thoughts?

Please please please send me some big fat labour vibes before I go mad with boredom. LOL!!:D

that sounds like you mean the calm before the storm jay-jay. Not sure if it happens with pregnancy but i can normally sense that kind of thing too (i can in pubs before trouble starts, in weather etc). If you are a sensory person its likely you do know somethings about to happen.

    Labour vibes to you!

Does walking really help in your opinion

  • Sammy & jay - hope things progress quickly for you

kitkat, it's probably easier to phone the tax credit helpline and run through with them. My understanding is take your and you oh income from April 2010 up until you go onto to smp, then while on smp disregard £100 per week ( as per inland revenue guidelines ) And total up your income up until April 2011, I normally use last week as the babies due date as the system can't calculate a future date, that should give your your weekly entitlement when baby gets here. Hope this isn't too confusing, baby brain !!
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:

    Hi guys

Sorry if this is the wrong thread to post this on but looking for a little advice or similar stories.

We had our dating scan on Tuesday and were told that the NT measurement was 5.5mm and also that the baby has fluid along the abdominal wall of 1.4mm.

I have been referred to a specialist fetal unit for another scan and a CVS procedure tomorrow (needle through stomach to take a sample of the placenta).

We are so scared! Seeing the baby moving etc has made it even worse - we feel so attached to the baby already and would hate for something to be seriously wrong.

Have any of you been through the procedure? I am absolutely terrified. :(
Proud to be dealing with my debts :money:

walking and bouncing apparently help. Lots of people go for those inflatable excercise balls and have a bounce on em. Not sure how much good it actually does but people seem to enjoy it in a theraputic kind of way!

There was one lady on here that had a curry and a pineapple and had the kid the next day. She posted the pic on facebook saying 'let the evacuation begin' and then pretty much had it right away! lol
