    Hi everyone

Been packing my hospital bag today and realised that I didn't even check the size of disposable knickers I bought (must have been a particularly bad moment of baby brain) and have ended up with a pack of size 18-20s which aren't going to be much use to me.

If anyone wants them I'm happy to post them so PM me if you could give them a home! Think there's 5 in the pack and they're from Babies R Us.

    Becs x

ETA: These have now been taken!

In view of them being tiny unless you are less than size 12 I would keep them.. buying the size bigger than you need is best... so if your normal pants are 14/16.. you will need the 18/20..

Or wait until after baby arrives and fling them at someone then!

I am a size 8 normally! I also got size 14-16 (?!) and am keeping those ones, and have got some 10-12s now. But really think 18-20 may be pushing it!

Thanks for the advice though - def gonna keep the 14-16s now.

Planning a home birth but yes if i do get transferred to hosp i guess i can always give them to someone else (unless someone from here does want them!)

I used paper pants for my first two with no problems but i think they are purposfully making them smaller now and they just dig into my legs so ice gone for great big granny pants this time in Black :-)

  • Feeling really down today
Just got a call from the nurse re blood retest
my iron levels were 10.3, 4 weeks ago, I had been given iron tablets but the side effects were horrible ( I was also taking lactulose but it just made me crampy & windy and I went 3/4 days between motions )
so I've been taking two sachets of spatone a day, told the nurse all this today and she got the doc to ring me, they were prefer I went back on the iron as my levels have only risen to 10.7 but I started crying saying I couldn't go through that for the next 6-8 weeks so we have agreed on a double dose of spatone for now.

Can't explain why this is getting me so down

I'm also having trouble taking my raspberry leaf tablets - they are huge and make me gag !!

Get this baby out of me !!! I just want a normal body, with normal bodily functions - What I would give to do a normal Poo !!!:o
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:

(((hugs))) ....but am very jealous of your iron levels!! I don't even have that level non pregnant:p Iron tablets are known to be horrid things so hopefully the spatone works.

Urghhhh - so tired. Still got my order to finish so I can post it tomorrow. I had a bit of a "ohmigod is that a bit of my plug" moment earlier:eek: I'm 99% sure it was actually to do with my very non-wee like wee:o:o No wonder I'm in pain when I have such stuff coming out from my bladder:( It's better than it was so think the antibiotics are clearing up any infection.

I was looking at the price of Arnica earlier... anyone found it cheapish anywhere???

I tried my big knickers on to check they fit and they're actually quite comfortable... I may wear them even before the birth;)

I bet you love reading about these things on here don't you?:p Knickers, wee, other bodily fluids etc etc!!:rotfl:

sonee congrats, but sorry you had such a bad time.

smartie - hope the infection clears up, sounds v nasty.

I've tidied the baby's room up a bit, moved stuff onto the changing table shelves hence creating more room elsewhere.

Just realised (i think) I am now in my 3rd trimester (27+4) :D

Am in agony still with right hip, feel like I don't know where to put myself. I was born with a dodgy hip and am getting worried that this might be related to it. Sorry to moan :(

DH was v sweet last night - I said I was thinking I might go and visit my family up north with the baby at some point and he said 'you can't, i'd miss you and the baby too much!' If you knew him you'd really know how much that means!
