Just got a call from the nurse re blood retest
my iron levels were 10.3, 4 weeks ago, I had been given iron tablets but the side effects were horrible ( I was also taking lactulose but it just made me crampy & windy and I went 3/4 days between motions )
so I've been taking two sachets of spatone a day, told the nurse all this today and she got the doc to ring me, they were prefer I went back on the iron as my levels have only risen to 10.7 but I started crying saying I couldn't go through that for the next 6-8 weeks so we have agreed on a double dose of spatone for now.
Can't explain why this is getting me so down
I'm also having trouble taking my raspberry leaf tablets - they are huge and make me gag !!
Get this baby out of me !!! I just want a normal body, with normal bodily functions - What I would give to do a normal Poo !!!:o
Mine is usually lower than that when I'm not pregnant!! I have no idea what it is now but it was about 9 5 weeks ago.
I want my body back too.. and to feel human and to sleep.. OMGosh... to SLEEP on a night instead of toss and turn and wake up every time I move because my pelvis and hips hurt.. and to be able to bend.. I WANT TO BEND!!!!!!!! and to not be so hot I am incapable of anything..

I was looking at the price of Arnica earlier... anyone found it cheapish anywhere???
Hi,
How weird cos I bought some today. I got some from Boots, 30C, it's not cheap at £5.09 (for 84 pills) but they are doing 3 for 2 on all vitamins and herbal products, so I got lavender oil and tea tree oil at the same time. They also have clary sage, jasmine etc. etc. so depends how much cheaper you can find it elsewhere if you were planning on getting other stuff.

20 wk scan tomorrow - i am so excited to find out sex (it better behave) but a little scared. I have this idea that because i have had 2 very healthy children something is bound to go wrong with this one. Silly i know but dont like to push my luck if that makes sense.
Memory boxes - i have only just caught up on todays postings! - i have newspapers from the mornings that each of mine were born. I have put all their hospital bits in there as well (name tags / well done letters etc), their coming home outfits and their 1st pair of real shoes. Also got cards from birth, 1st christmas and 1st birthday. Not sure if there is anything else in there. i was bought a book but never got time to fill it in. Like someone said i have many many pics of 1st child all set out nicely and a lot less of 2nd. Once 2nd one comes along it gets so busy, cant imagine how i will cope with the 3rd but i am sure i will.

I have been a hormonal nightmare today! I ordered some bedding from tesco to collect from store and haven't managed to get there yet, OH was meant to take me earlier but didn't bother (which was obviously all my fault, though he cba and making excuses) I was going to go on the bus tonight, but it would have taken two hours so I didn't bother

Also I slept for three hours today
and I could still sleep again. Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

Ah Pigpen, being able to bend, those were the days !! It's so funny all the silly things you miss
- being able to get up out of a chair without sounding like a 90 year old
- I also remember the days when my bladder was bigger than a egg cup
- Having hair that behaved ( mine's taken on a mind of it's own )
- Turning over in your sleep without waking up
- Having a brain bigger than a peanut
- getting into a nice comfie bed without my foot developing an urge to dance
- When my shoes fitted me
- seeing my feet/foof ( god only knows what it looks like these days ) etc etc
- being able to eat after 5 pm without having reflux
- being able to eat a decent sized meal all in one go
- being able to take a deep breath
the list goes on and on.......Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0
