I heard it was like the niagra falls.

In all honesty the experience i have is of having my friends water breaking and me making her laugh which would make it shoot out more. It was a funny game! She was sitting down though so i suppose it makes a difference.

    :rotfl:

Well they broke mine with a crochet hook when I was in labour with DD1 and they went everywhere in a massive rush, but when I had the twins one set of my waters went at home (two sacs, one placenta - very unusual apparently that was why they couldn't be sure whether they were identical or not on ultrasound) and it was just trickles, I honestly thought for ten minutes that I was having little accidents :o

My first was a big gush after havng the waters broken by the midwife in hospital but i think thats because they tear them quite alot, second one was just a continuous trickle they went naturally and third one was a trickle to begin with then about 2hrs in they went pop but was only a little gush, however i seemed to be carrying a hell of alot of water and they had to sweep the membranes again before i gave birth as they were bulging and another lot of water came away in a big gush.

Hi all - just to let you know I had my scan today and I am officially:

    a. pregnant!
    b. 13+1

So a week further along than we'd thought.

Can I be added to the EDD list for January 10th when someone has a moment?
Congratulations! So pleased for you. Jan 11th is my birthday :D

or you sneezed and didnt see where it landed.

I do that all the time. The trajectory of snot is hard to predict and its so fast you cant see where it went. Mine normally stops on my chest/belly but there is a chance it could have made it into your knickers if you were on the loo at the time you sneezed
:rotfl::rotfl: you crack me up Bufger!

good luck sammy hope it goes quickly and smoothly!

We had a lovely curry last night. Still haven't decided what to do today, hoping DH will sleep in for a bit as I'm happy just relaxing. There doesn't seem to be anything on at the cinema which was one option. I just wish I could manage to walk for even an hour as I'd love a leg stretch, but it's just too painful.

    Good luck Sammy!!

Love the name Tinks, I love flower names - I think I would have gone for a Rose/Lily if we had been on team pink. Like you Rach I am struggling with a boys name as all girls names are so pretty where as boys are not :-(

Its best to pick names after characteristics. Girls usually flounce around and play girly stuff so they can suit pretty names. For boys you should try something like:

    WormEater
    Nosepicker
    Grotbag
    DirtyHair
    DirtyHands
    ArseScratcher
    LucasMucus
