Sounds like your plug Sammy looks like things may get moving for you soon :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

or you sneezed and didnt see where it landed.
I do that all the time. The trajectory of snot is hard to predict and its so fast you cant see where it went. Mine normally stops on my chest/belly but there is a chance it could have made it into your knickers if you were on the loo at the time you sneezed
(its your plug. Take a photo so you can show bubs when they're 18!)MFW - <£90kAll other debts cleared thanks to the knowledge gained from this wonderful website and its users!0 -
OH fingers crossed then. trying not to get too excited but hoping for the best.:T
Babe is wriggling about at the minute but I'm hoping the school walk today will help with pressure etc although am paranoid about being stood in the playground and my waters breaking
haven't told Owen yet as don't want to panic/worry him as have read that things could still take a while to get going but hoping since Im 40+6 that her weight and gravity should help - even more reason for me to be cleaning etc today then - although glad I did final baby shopping yesterday now though!Time to find me again0 -
Eww bufger thats vile lol
Fingers crossed for you sammy and loads of labour vibes coming your way. I wouldnt worry to much about your waters going its very rare that they just pop and flood everywhere pop a pad on before you go just incase, most waters just trickle so you should be able to get home relatively unscathed :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
I dont think a pad will absorb much from what ive seen of waters breaking. I'd go with a sponge or maybe a 'one sheet' from plenty.MFW - <£90kAll other debts cleared thanks to the knowledge gained from this wonderful website and its users!0

Thanks - about time! - I know of 5 people due after me who have had their babies already!
Lol - still have a few small bits coming out but i think that might just be straddlers if I'm honest. Like I said she had a few bits yesterday, then some last night and then a big piece this morning and think its 'leftovers' at the minute so a walk should do me some good. Have got a pad in now though so will be a quick there and back this morning I think.Time to find me again0 -
Bufger that experience would be??? you talking about the tv shows where everything happens at lightening speed and the women are all perfect smiley and made up after the birth, Boy are you in for a shock LOL ;-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Lol Bufger :rotfl: For most women it's just a trickle esp if you're stood up because the baby's head blocks the 'gush'!
I don't even want to know where you did your research :rotfl:
Well DD1 (7 going 17) has really annoyed me this morning, she found £1 on the bathroom floor and was going to take it for herself without asking for the school shop and then hit Twin1 when twin1 told her that was stealing and and she was going to come and give it to me. *sigh*
My mum took the monsters to school for me this morning :T though she said she saw the bus stopped round the corner and wondered if it was waiting for us because it seemed to be stopped for ages :rotfl:
Good luck Sammy, definitely your plug there! I'm glad for the red warning though, I was eating when the page first loadedMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I heard it was like the niagra falls.
In all honesty the experience i have is of having my friends water breaking and me making her laugh which would make it shoot out more. It was a funny game! She was sitting down though so i suppose it makes a difference.MFW - <£90kAll other debts cleared thanks to the knowledge gained from this wonderful website and its users!0 -
Mine came out with a huge gush & went everywhere! Thankfully I was in hospital at the time but I remember being amazed at just how much there was, probably just because spread out on the floor it looks like loads as I was standing up at the time. A friend of mine has 4 children & hers always broke just before the baby was delivered after hours of labour. It's different for everyone.0
