    Hi ladies,

Just popping in to see if anyone's heard from MV?

Love reading the names lists too. I THINK we've got our names (we're team yellow) but I keep forgetting how to spell the boy's one  I'm a freaking English teacher too :eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Teaching has made name chosing harder though cos whenever we find a nice one it just reminds me of some awful kid I've taught.

The abbreviated version of our girl's name is fairly common but the full version I've never heard before and I LOVE the meaning behind it. We're not saying though :p

Think baby's head has engaged, my bump has really dropped and I need a wee aaaaaaaaaaall the time now. Thought this wasn't meant to happen until you're about ready to deliver with non-first babies? So ready to finish work too, 12 more get ups to go :T:T

    Hi everyone

Re names I want something traditional but not too common, thinking of William, Thomas. Have to be careful too as our surname is pronouced who (but not spelt like that) and of course he has a brother that is a doctor. Another complication is that I want to double-barrel as my name, which would be B-Who as think will be unusual anyway with just his surname - but DH is not sure.

Waiting for MV too, hope everything is OK.

Stupid preg hormones nearly crying in Sainsbury's as they messed up on my 2 4 £3 offer and took ages sorting it out which I was stressing about missing train - does it ever stop getting upset over nothing?

i was in tears earlier too! DH has been a grumpy !!!!!!! today, everything is wrong, he suddenly didn't want to do any of the things we'd planned for this week (to save money, we've just been given £1000 !!!!!! and didn't go on hols to save money!). The only thing he wanted to do was go walking, which is the one thing I can't do! And he didn't like the changing table (thinks we don't need it)- it is a bit shabbier than I thought but is perfectly functional and was given by a friend of mine). I nipped to the shops (tried 4 shops for a tin of black beans, none to be found!) and cried on the bus, then cried when the last shop had no beans, then went and laid down when I got back. He has now apologised, we have booked something to do on Thurs and are going for a curry tonight!

And the flat is a mess which is seriously stressing me out. I'm so tired all the time my mum thinks I am probably anaemic, going to ring mw and see if I can get bloods done this week, they are due next week (am 27+2 now). I think she may be right as I am very pale and if you pull the bottom eyelid down it's v pale which is a sign i think.

Sorry for the moan, know I don't really have much to moan about up to some. Hope MV is ok. x

Rach.. don't be getting upset.. esp. over beans!! wombat!!! Would the changing table be better with a sanding and a lick of paint? That might keep him occupied for a few days! I've never had one so can see his point.. Poke him in the eye and spit in his gravy... big hugs.. hope you are feeling a little brighter tomorrow! Would he come have a lie down with you? just a cuddle it doesn't even need to be bedtime..

I don't want to have this baby next week or the week after... I am too busy... do you think it will listen? Can I plan such things? In fact I don't know if I want a baby at all... do they take returns? I'm happy to swap for a couple of fluffy ginger kittens!!

lol pigpen, I'm ok. Think mainly overtired after a long weekend and driving a long way. He's always like this at the start of the holidays! yes a sanding might work, just not sure I can be bothered as we have no outside space so messy job! I think a good clean will do and once the stuff is on it will be fine! I know not everyone likes them but as we're all on one floor and I can't cope with mess it attracts me to have everything in one place!

    Hello all

we cant decide on a name either have one we agree on but still not wowed by it, working with children I hear 100's names every day and always relate them to individual children unfortunately.

Husband is freaked out by belly moving which makes me laugh.

Saw midwife today measuring 33wks which is fine as I am 31+5 so about right, urine test hospital sent off was fine continue to have lucocytes in it but never mind!! Baby is breech and head seems to be sticking in my ribs which is why I get pain there, not really an issue if breech as having c-section anyway.

is anyone planning on using hypno birthing. My friend used it but i would be interested on other peoples views. Would OH have to do anything as i think he may be a little sceptical about it.

i am slowly becoming ok with the idea of a homebirth if i could stay calm throughout. Both my previous births have been in hospital but very quick and straight forward hence why the MW says i should be prepared for homebirth.

I am SLM if she ever decides to rear her head!

My opinion was that it can't hurt and if it helps, it's worth a go. We're hopefully having a waterbirth at a midwife unit. If your quite frenetic like me you may find the breathing exercises good anyway on the build up to D-day; it's a lot like the stuff you do at the end of pregnancy yoga sessions - visualisation, deep breathing, calming your body, etc.

BUT i should say we did the workshops specifically to give OH a role in the birth since a lot of it is about your birth partner helping you get in the deep relaxation by encouraging you to relax, stroking your skin, etc.

Hope all are well today; come on Sammy ~labour vibes~

    I'm doing hypno birthing:D

I listened to my cd earlier, drifted off... awoke to the "5,4,3,2,1 open eyes" to find both my cats flat out fast asleep next to me!:rotfl:

Hi all - just to let you know I had my scan today and I am officially:

    a. pregnant!
    b. 13+1

So a week further along than we'd thought.

Can I be added to the EDD list for January 10th when someone has a moment?
