  • I am feeling particularly grumpy and fed up today.

Only 2 more weeks of work, which is great as I am now very conscious of me biting peoples heads off for no reason!

    Boo!

    Nice bump pics ladies :)

Come on ladies - show us your bumps! :D:D:D

PP - oh I hate that feeling - she keeps rubbing her hand on her face but feels like she is running her fingertips along the inside of my lower belly which is freaking me out no end.

She has been relatively quiet since I left mother in laws about 1ish but she had been prodded, probed, scanned and had the heart thing too so think she had a wriggle on from being annoyed - although as I typed that I have just felt a few lower flutters but she probably wont wake up now until about 8ish.

Meant to say today as well
i went back to the same consultant who tried to get me on the IV drip - but she put up no argument when I gave her my answered her about not having it. Anyway told her I was on 3 x 200mg tablets a day and taht I had been taking spatone because it had a natural iron content and guess what.........................SHE TOLD ME OFF (in front of mother in law!) because if I was taking iron tablets and the spatone I was getting TOO MUCH IRON!!!!!! Felt like screaming YOU WERE JUST ABOUT TO STICK AN INTRAVENIOUS DRIP IN ME WHICH WAS AN IRON CONCERNTRATE YOU SILLY MOO!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek: shocking just shocking!

and breathe...........................No other labour signs to report though.
    Time to find me again

My best maternity wear buy has to be the linen trousers i got from asda they are £12 ounds and soooo comfortable in fact i liked them so much i bought one in white and one in black, how sad is that!!!!!!
I am also wearing lots of maxi dresses and skirts i find it means you can er go commando on very hot days with no fear!!!!!

I bought some from Next and they are so lovely and comfy and keep me cool.

I've been invited out tonight with a friend for meal/cinema etc but really don't have the energy. Feel like I'm being a bit mardy and pathetic but I'm shattered all ready and got to sort tea and kids etc. I really ought to make the effort as I haven't seen her for a while but was really looking forward to getting kids in bed and then chilling in front of the tv, whilst getting oh to give me a foot rub :D.

    Hello all

Dinner was ok last night they brought husband wrong starter so sat and are mine by myself then he got his and did same. Mains came and my burger was burnt loads so sent it back. They offered us free dessert but I was full and when they brought bill they hadnt charged us for one starter and one main which was good.

I too have linen trousers from next but the stretchy bit with buttons to adjust cut my skin as it rubbed so had to soak them in softner and wash them few times to soften it.

I am very very impressed with www.greenbaby.com my order came today only ordered monday!!

Fuzz, that's a lovely bump you've got there.

Metranil, don't worry, pretty soon you'll be lugging a huge giant bump about with you and wondering wether it's acceptable to wear your slippers in public cos you can't fasten laces anymore!

Sammy, the scan sounds fantastic, it must've been so nice to see her. Hope she doesn't keep you waiting too much longer to meet her in the flesh! It must have been amazing for MIL to see as well. Hope it made up for your stupid consultant telling you off.
