Well i've been running around all morning like a maniac as it's ds's 9th birthday tomorrow so been in town, supermarket, school coffee morning, back to supermarket, mum's then back here.
Just sat down for a catch up and a rest and i can smell CAT BOB!!!!!!! The bloody cats got the runs and already cleared one load up from DS's bedroom last night and i really don't want to go hunting again!!!!!
Wonder if i can pretend i can't smell it DH comes and let him deal with it!!!!

My best maternity wear buy has to be the linen trousers i got from asda they are £12 ounds and soooo comfortable in fact i liked them so much i bought one in white and one in black, how sad is that!!!!!!
I am also wearing lots of maxi dresses and skirts i find it means you can er go commando on very hot days with no fear!!!!!

This is me 6 weeks ago in Valencia (at 32+5) - definitely got some wierd looks from the locals - not sure if it was the shorts though or the fact that we were walking around in the mountains! Can't get anywhere near the shorts now of course - a-line cotton dresses all the way for me! easy to hike up for the loo!

Hi All

Back from the hospital.

Saw the consultant who didn't even really try arguing with me.

Baby bump is fine, measuring at 41cm

heartbeat is good

did have a brief worry in that the student midwife examining me wasn't sure if she was head down or not so they had to get a mobile scanner in but everything is fine, she is head down 3/5ths palpitable. Was awesome to see a fully formed perfect little princess on the screen and made my mother in law cry because she got to see it all too and she has never been to any of her grandchildren's scans!

Thought I would also join in the fun and have become a clever so and so with boyfriends fancy pants camera now I know how to work the timer on it there's no stopping me!

This is my Holly bump at 5 months in (I had only know I was pregnant for a month and couldn't do my trousers up! excuse the hair too!)

Glad all was well at the hospital sammykaye - must be amazing to have a scan so far along! from the shape of you, you look all set to go - you're the picture perfect image of what they show in the books - bump forward, tilted and low

Thanks Kym. I know was like a beached whale with Ben though.

it was really weird to see her at full term on the scanning screen.

Could make all her little toes and fingers and she had really long legs so she has her legs bent and is sort of sat on them under her bum, which inconveniently is under my ribs. Could see all her organs, all her ribs, her heart everything! was most bizarre but amazing too - nice to know she's in there and she's ok. There's no room around her what so ever though - ie no big black patches of just water so my whole bump is JUST her practically!!

Also slightly miffed - didn't realise how nice and thin I looked in the first picture - I'd just lost 2st and was landed to be in a size 14 there!
