Aww cafc how is it all going you a settled mommy now? Good to hear landen is growing well you will be amazed how quickly it happens i was watching bubs the other day and thinking how amazing it is that 41 weeks ago he was a crying bundle of mess that was incapable of doing anything for himself and now he is cruising around crawling and even talking a little bit he can say dada, baba and the occasional jojo. I dont think it will be long before he is walking either he stood on his own for a few seconds the other day without holding on. Basically what im saying is enjoy every possible minute you can as they change so quickly :-) x

Had very odd time last nigh though - one of my feet swelled. not both. just one - it like ballooned up and was hurting my toes! couldn't even stand to go in shower! its fine now though but not had one swelling on its own before - most bizarre.

I only ever have one foot swell up!!! So it feels like it is in a balloon.. and my toes hurt.

Xmas.. I had cramp loads last night too.. how odd!

Hi all - hope everyone is feeling good today

I joined this forum what seemed like 5 mins ago and despite my good intentions, haven't really posted (very busy lady!), but now I come back and see I'm 4th on the list - eek!! Today is my first day of maternity leave and I am bored already. I've had a pretty much perfect first pregnancy except for all-day (morning) sickness until week 18 and I feel very lucky but now I'm starting to wonder if I might end up with a horrible birth just to balance it out! All ready to go - having a waterpool birth at a midwife centre if all goes to plan and can't wait to meet my little girl! I know impatience will catch up with me soon so any tips for encouraging them out appreciated! She's 3/5 engaged -does that mean I have a while to wait?

Healthy bump vibes to all! x

I was wondering if you were OK because I hadn't noticed you posting this morning!

KK - Just wanted to say good luck with Dr's. From what the copious visits to day assessment and hospital staff told me, if its one level thats high, they normally aren't too concerned, they keep an eye on you, but if there are a few levels combined which are high then they obviously ge more concerned.
I had high urates levels, astronomical in fact but didnt have protein or any other sign so they just kept an eye.....
Make sure they explain what it all means for you and bubs though, thats one thing i feel i missed out on....... love and hugs though xx
P.S Landen has already grown out of a few bits, so got them aside for you xx And P.P.S Have you bought any breast pads yet? I've got a whole box of them here which you're welcome to if you dont have any yet?

Thanks Cafc :) your very sweet! Still not heard off the docs but hopefully it'll be okay.

Thanks for putting bits aside :) very kind of you :) I have got a box of breast pads but I am unfort having to use them already :( the many perks of being pregnant!! Hope you and the little man are ok *hugs* xx very kind of you to think of me with all that you have been through lately

LOL I just want him to stay like this forever LOL I'll admit I have sat here and just watched him and i love him being asleep in my arms, despite horrid midwife at hospital telling me I should leave him to cry as I "wouldnt want to end up with a spoilt baby"............. my god he's a baby!
We're doing ok, not liking the heat much.... but we're getting better with feeding so thats good xx

Budget thats a lovely bump and by the way you have great taste in bedroom furniture we have that range too. Very annoying about your injection its amazing how they can screw things up even when you chase them up to check.

Thanks! Do we reckon boy/girl? :D

    The furniture is my mum's I'm dog/cat sitting for a week :)

How old is your daughter Tinks ? Mine is 12 and takes great pride in showing off her pregnant mom to her friends although she doesnt like the side affects of pregnancy like how windy i get lol ;-)

She is 12 also. 13 in November! All her friends think it's cool that her mum is having a baby. She has put herself in charge of fashion!! We were in T K maxx on Tuesday and she wanted to get baby "Vans" !

She is very proud normally but she gets embarrased by some of my bump T shirts her favourite one says "Kick me baby one more time" and she has refused to be seen with me in my bump dunagrees!!!!! :rotfl:
If you can think it........it will happen

Do you think I can phone the midwife and request them to take the baby out NOW???

Had a brill night out last night. Food wasn't that great but the ladies I went out with were so funny. We all have a very similar sense of humour... and even though no alcohol was involved I think we were very nearly kicked out! There was the usual bump/baby talk but not too much and I felt non pregnant most of the night which is what I really needed:)

And then I go and ruin it all by being very ill all night:(

    Hugs, labour vibes etc etc.

I think I may buy myself a load of crappy mags to read and then try to get some sleep!
