Re: hair trimming - The midwife probably won't even notice - I expect that when you see that many foofs on a daily basis it's be water off a duck's back (I just realised that makes it sound I've seen loads of foofs and I haven't, honest! :o)

If it will make you feel less self conscious though, go for it because it will help you to relax, which they need you to do.

Well I'm just waiting for my tesco delivery, OH ordered the half price garden furniture and it's due any minute.

Feel much better after wearing the super sexy NHS issue support belt all afternoon yesterday! I actually slept all night last night, woke up feeling rested and was out of the shower and dressed by 7am  very unusual for me. Long may it continue :rotfl:

Lots better thanks. Going for a private scan on Saturday. Just to de stress my head.

How are you? When is your scan?

    Glad you're feeling better Tink.

I'm ok..scan is in 5 days. I'm very excited but utterly terrified too!

Until then I'm trying to keep a part of my head telling me that I'm not really preg, self-presevation I think it's called :rotfl:

i felt a bit guilty last night as I made omlettes for dinner, and had mine quite runny in the middle. it was lush, and I hate over cooked eggs, but then felt bad in case I'd given myself food poisoning!

I was fine. Plus eggs stamped with red lion mean the chickens have been vaccinated against salmonella, doesn't it?

I'm currently sporting the retro look as well, It's not easy when you can't see it! (Well, it's easier to ignore, harder to deal with!)

I think most PG women end up 'going retro' more towards the end, then we all start dreading 'NHS Razor action' and pull our socks up

Tinks, i am going through almost exactly the same issue here today! I have been having good strong movements for a few days now, but yesterday i had a very upset tummy and have not felt the baby at all since! I now am struggling to stay sane.

I have been off work for almost 3 weeks due to Labrynthitis (sp?) and so have subsequently had far too much time on my hands!

I have my 20 wk scan on Monday, but not sure i can wait until then to find out if anything is wrong!??

May try and see if my mw will pop in and check on everything, she has been wonderful so far.

I second the advice to relax, as much as possible and talk away to your bump, as the more experienced voices on here have said our beans are prob growing!

Take care and i will try and pop back again soon, but the computer does make me feel quite woozy.

Take Care honey. I have booked a private scan for 2pm on saturday DH is working but said he is fine as he knows how much I have been stressing. Means I should also get to find out what flavour it she. DH & I have a bet on ;)

Thanks Tinks, my MW is popping in around 1.30 to have a listen in. I feel very silly, but can't wait for Monday morning and the scan, not going to find out flavour, saving it for the day it arrives :) Good luck on Sat, and try and relax until then :)

MV no need to worry about the eggs :) It is very rare that anyone gets food poisoning from eggs these days, and if you know when you bought them and you cooked them, i think it is fine! Well that is what i keep telling myself :)

Well ive eaten and feel a whole lot better for it. my argos order has just arrived and my new ironing board is huge its bigger than me  and i think the lads rug is going to be too big for their room as well but hey ho if its tucked under the bed it doesnt matter. just gotta get their old units down and out now so we can put the new chests of drawers in and i got them some under bed storage boxes for their smaller toys which hope fully will stop DS1 shoving them in his drawers with his clothes.

Tinks glad to hear your feeling better today its horrible having tummy upsets at the best of times let alone when your pregnant. enjoy your scan on Saturday.

As for the foof area i try and do it every few weeks only way i have found works is the old veet cream and a mirror then wash off using one of those scrubby !!!!!! things in the shower cant go near it with a razor as im working backwards in a mirror and i would end up taking skin off i know i would. I still get the odd stray thats left behind but its better than how it is au natural :-)

    Morning all, hope everyones ok!

Well I feel like carp :( all snotty, puffy eyes, tired, sore throat and generally rough! My allergies are playing up like hell :(

Doc phoned me before re: protein in my urine sample. He is going to phone me later as he thinks I could be at risk of pre-eclampsia. Hoping this is not the case but I will see what he says later.

My garden furniture is here :j

Am trying to get everything organised at home for when little monster arrives, have asked my mum to have the big monsters for a weekend in the next few weeks so that we can paint the house (yes, pretty much the whole lot :o) as it will be easier to do their bedrooms when they are not there! Also I don't want them to feel left out because the baby has lots of new things so I'd like to do something nice for them so I'll paint their rooms and maybe get them some mats. Have got some new bedding and ordered some more curtains for DD1 as hers are in a right old state. I think this might be the 'nesting' I keep hearing about :o:o

Can't believe I'm 30 weeks  nowhere near ready yet!

Kitkat: I hope all goes well with docs for you!
