oh no Landen is the one and only... was always going to be just the one and after everything, he most definitely is the only one.....

hopefully i can argue that as i still have a bump which is waiting to shrink back I can get away with still lurking on this thread...... the other thread scares me....

    me neither.....

Landen was destined to be an only child... i told him a lot whilst he was in the womb.... plus he's got Gordon as his surrogate big brother....

Gordon has taken to him surprisingly well...... he sits by the cot when he cries....

Cafc: I don't see why you would have to leave this thread, please stay! The parenting thread is very fast moving and hard to keep up with! Glad Gordon and Landen are getting on ok, I'm sure they'll be the best of friends!

Fuzz: I will check out your bump timeline later :) won't load on my iPod!

:( (((HUGS))) no need to feel guilty though....you're both here safe & sound and lets face it...what kid remembers their birth??? the only one who'll be over thinking it is you....i know that won't help you at all but sometimes a llittle common sense can help;) but we're still here for you x
hopefully the baby blues will lift soon:) I imagine if you just look at his little face your heart will lift anyway so thats gotta be a good thing:)
as for the birth, speak to the midwife about it and you DH see if he can fill in the blanks for you....I've heard the not knowing can be quite traumatic for some people..I think if it happens to me, I'll find it difficult to deal with coz I need answers for everything!

I'm off for the day now xxxxxxxxxx

Fuzz, that's a lovely bump you've got there.

Metranil, don't worry, pretty soon you'll be lugging a huge giant bump about with you and wondering wether it's acceptable to wear your slippers in public cos you can't fasten laces anymore!

Sammy, the scan sounds fantastic, it must've been so nice to see her. Hope she doesn't keep you waiting too much longer to meet her in the flesh! It must have been amazing for MIL to see as well. Hope it made up for your stupid consultant telling you off.

LMAO - I know I tried wearing flip flops - I am much more a boot/heel/trainer kind of girl and almost fell over every 10 feet so gave up and went back to trainers - although at the minute I have one shrek foot which seems to swell when it pleases and one normal foot - no idea why but not comfortable either way. Plus I seem to have hurt under my big toe so not sure if I've stood on something and its hurt it or not. I seem to have a white spot in the middle of it though that's making me think Lego.

Metranil - oh just wait the fun of walking up a flight of stairs when baby feels like she's about to fall out is no fun. You'll be suprised how quickly bump grows!

Bexta - I honestly expected her to be crying like a baby but was nice to see her being that I haven't seen her since my 20 week scan. REally am looking forward to mummy cuddles but had nothing so far. :( really need lots more labour vibes!

Cafc: you have nothing to feel guilty about: you nurtured and cared for Landen for 9 months, you did everything you could. You have nothing to feel guilty about your birth, there were complications beyond your control. Landen is healthy, you are recovering and all is well, I bet your a great mother too!
