another question ladies...When have people finished and how have they found it?

Hi all, i'm the newbie...ok so i'm finishing pretty darn early as i'm on a temporary teaching contract, last day 21st July when I'll be 27 weeks. Got to get job seekers for a few weeks to keep me afloat. Gotlots of projects lined up sewing, knitting, organising nursery etc.

I heard you discussing internal scans; I have them every 4 weeks to check length of cervix as my 'little guy' is sitting in one of two wombs that I was born with. Haven't noticed any wierd side effects to my womb shape just that he keeps kicking me in my bowel speechless-smiley-017.gif (yes really makes me whince!).

Also made me chuckle hearing your daily eats - my faves are currently cocoa pops; ready brek and honey; veg sushi and proper hot wasabi; OMG Nando's I would kill someone to get to - especially that hot piri piri sauce; spicy crisps; nachos with guacamole and salsa. I'm salivating now.speechless-smiley-024.gif

Wish I could upload my bump pics but no idea how - I'm 24 weeks and pretty huge already. Looking forward to reading your fave foods! I love food!

Welcome J-pink well the two wombs thing is a new one on me never heard of anyone actually having it but have read about it. Will it affect you giving birth in anyway?

I had massive spicy cravings with last bubs but this time it just gives me indigestion so i avoid it if i can i have a sweet tooth this time which is murdering my waist line but i figure i will sort it after the birth :-)

  • Sorry I've not been on for a while :) I had my growth scan on Monday. At 34+2 his estimated weight is 5lbz 7oz :o My DS was born 3 weeks early and only weighed 5lbs 9oz! So was expecting another little one lol. Though my bump has been measuring almost 2 weeks ahead.

Anyway all the checks were fine he is healthy and growing well. I am booked in the see the consultant 2 days after my due date if I have no already had him. He said my options will either be to have my waters broken and be put on a drip to speed things up... to be left up to 12 days over... or to opt for a section.

I have no started taking Raspberry Leaf capsules and Evening Primerose oil in hopes to prepare my body a little better for a faster labour.. as I know they do not give you as long when you trying for vbac.

How are all you girls doing? Whos next in line to be due??

I'm planning on washing all the moses basket/ cot bedding this weekend too Pigpen, I hope this hideous hot weather keeps just to dry it all! Think I have discovered some sleepsuits that I havent washed so they will be bunged in too!! Oh I was going to ask you, I have been looking at these tots bots resuseables, excuse me if I sound stupid, but is it correct you need the nappy, waterproof cover and liner? I am sure I stumbled across an 'all in one' thing that just needed liners but all the rest seem to need layers, if so, are they bulky at all??
Metranil - oh just wait the fun of walking up a flight of stairs when baby feels like she's about to fall out is no fun. You'll be suprised how quickly bump grows!

I had to STAND n a boiling hot sports hall for 15-20 minutes tonight and I swear this baby was looing for the exit.. I ended up holding it in I'm sure!

That said DS3's tutor saw me VERY quickly and ushered me on my way!! lol

Chocolate mousse and prawns today.. don't ask!

Are your wombs one inside the other or side by side which is more common?.. or rather it being one with a central divide/septum is most common.

Does the empty womb stil menstruate during pregnancy? My friends mum didn't realise she was pregnant until 6 months because she was large and also because hers were one inside the other and the empty one still kept on menstruating.

    I find it highly fascinating!

Baby has been most distressed by the behaviour of the older siblings today.. and had hiccups almost all day.. usually a sign of vigourous hand sucking!!... Please let tomorrow be more peaceful!
