although think i may have spoken a bit too soon................

went to the loo a minute ago and had a really horrible pain in my ribs but in my back, as if she is in my back and the pain lasted about 30/40 seconds and her kicks/wriggles weren't as they usually were and it has gone now but has left my stomach feeling very strange indeed now.
    Time to find me again

Rach just reading your experience what a bunch of city bankers. I had a similar experience this morning on the tram, decided to wear my baby on board badge as thought maybe I don't look preggers but still was ignored - although did get a seat on the next stop. Will have to ask people in future sitting the seats for preggers ladies as I will never get a seat by waiting for someone!

Got to the train station and train wanted to catch was down on number of carriages so was busy, had to walk through to find the priority seats and got one from a bloke who I asked for et voila! Yesterday was quite good too as a bloke offered me a seat on the way home when I kind of made it obvious I was preggers. So I think I'm with PP have to be more blatant and demanding!

Good luck Sammy and love the bump pics, will attempt to take one tonight but prob won't be able to post it yet!

Grrr it makes me want to go postal when I see a pregnant lady, old person, someone with crutches etc standing on a train full of fit healthy people hiding behind their newspapers

I ALWAYS give up my seat if someone needs it. it's just basic courtesy. Some people are so ignorant, you wonder how they were dragged up.

my OH was on the train the other day and saw a pregnant lady getting on, so quickly dived for the one seat that had become available at the back of the train, sat on it ubntil she had got on, and then shouted to her to head that way so she could sit down, knowing that some ignorant F*** of a man would grab it otherwise

MV that is so nice of your DH. When I was about 8 weeks pregnant (no badge or bump!) I gave up my seat to a more heavily preggers lady on the tube as no-one else was looking to do so. This is in spite of my nausea at the time. I now realise that the later on you get esp in the heat you did need a seat more as everything seems to be aching. On the train this morning was busy as less carriages so was walking through behind a man who took the last seat available  but obviously not your DH as didn't offer it too me (got a priority one further down), have in the past made a point when people are rushing to seats to say 'Can I have the seat I'm preggers' - hopefully shames them a bit.

Morning all! Heres my latest bump pic at 34 weeks, took it this morning :D cant believe how high my bump looks! This baby must have a massive backside as it sticks out so much!!

Saw my doc, he thinks I am suffering more from exhaustion and possibly a kidney infection so thankfully that rules out pre-eclamsia for the time being, but if my BP shoots up I have to go in.

I do get cross when people will just watch someone struggle, whether it's a PG lady, someone struggling to get a buggy on the bus, or anyone really I always go out of my way to help.

Especially people with double buggies, but I remember that one well so that could just be me :rotfl:

I have been known to loudly declare that people 'Have no manners any more' when no one else offers to move or help. Makes my blood boil!

Sir M I think it's disgusting that no one gave you a seat.

If I had been on your train I would have tapped the nearest healthy bloke on the shoulder and loudly asked him to get up so you could sit down!
