I'm guessing I lost about a stone with the sickness, so maybe total gain 1 stone 6 pounds? Would be interesting to see your varying bumps pigpen! Do you manage to loose the weight? I think that's part of my fear as I'm very short and don't carry weight well!0

I did but I am still lugging about 3 stone from having DD3.. that refused to shift.. but the weight gained with DD4 and DD5 was gone within a few months mostly. Before DD3 I lost all of it and some after each of them.. but I was a bit of a mess after DD3, leaking bladder and bowel, no attached stomach muscles etc so it was very difficult!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Quick question re: breastfeeding. Who does and who doesnt?
I have no issue with the actual practice, but my nipples are very very very senstive. They always have been and (sorry in advance for TMI) if im in the right mood 10 seconds stimulation gives me the most intense orgasms. This however, is rare, and most of the time having my breasts even touched makes me incredibly angry. I can't quite describe it, but my teeth and jaws clench up and I just get white rage.
I know thats all very weird, but its what happens and I have no intention of breastfeeding this sprog for the above reasons. Plus, i think BF wants to be involved with the feeding and im not !!!!!!ing about with that expressing malarkey.
Anyone else have similar issues?0 -
O dear sounds like you had a rough time. Are you finding this pregnancy totally different with having a diff father of the baby?0

I does..
for several reasons.. I am lazy, I can't be faffed with listening to a squawking baby while I prepare the bottle, I am lazy, I will NOT get out of bed in the middle of the night and I sure as F*** won't do it in winter, I am lazy, I am a total skinflint.. tight as nuns knicker elastic! I am lazy..kitkat5566 wrote: »O dear sounds like you had a rough time. Are you finding this pregnancy totally different with having a diff father of the baby?
I had a completely horrific time with DD3.. with DD4 the damage was so massive from DD3 I had 2 contractions and it ripped my insides to pieces.. the surgeon doing the repairing couldn't get her out until he had stopped the extensive bleed from my shredded bowel.. It was so bad they wanted to do photographs but there wasn't time.. DD4 has cerebral palsy as a result.
The pregnancy this time is following pretty much the same pattern.. I am more tired but I think that may be the heat and my age.. it is 13 years since I had a summer baby.I have much less fluid in there and the baby is much longer.. but OH is 6 inches taller than KH so to be expected. In many ways I am feeling better this time but that could be because I have more than a 2 year gap and my body has recovered from the last pregnancy before starting this one.
In my head I feel better too.. I am far less willing to be persuaded to do anything other than exactly what I want.. though I am also feeling pretty deflated that OH is apparently less than barely interested.. he chose the bedding but getting anything out of him is hard work and I can't spare the energy.
This baby is better behaved than the others.. I've had less bleeding throughout and it is laid properly not back to back like all 8 of my others were.. hey, it may result in a quicker labour.. we can but hope! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I just want it over and done with now.. I am not yet entirely fed up but I am so hot and tired.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Sounds like you've had some horrific experiences.. And your doing it all again?! Hopefully things will go better for you with this pregnancy. My OH seems uninterested sometimes, and if i decide on something without consulting him he goes nuts saying it's like it's just my baby. I just try to keep him informed and involved as much as I can. I am sure your OH is interested in the baby, he might just feel pushed out as you have done it 8 times before so you know what your doing and it's his first time. If he's anything like me he'll be terrified!0

I understand that and that he is rather overwhelmed by my brood as it is.. but that doesn't mean he cannot speak to me!
... I am having a weepy night I think.. maybe I should just go to bed!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning all
Im 4th on the list! Jesus that went fast!
Have woken up today to what I can only presume is babies head in my pelvis - very uncomfortable sort of stabbing pain with various movements and think I had a few sneaky practice blips yesterday as I was laid on sofa getting a couple of tummy cramps and backache but nothing came of it. Fingers crossed she will come on her own though - don't fancy an induction again.
Seeing midwife tomorrow - will expect a row fro not having the IV treatment but its impossible when I don't drive, my partner works long hours and I have a 6 year old to cater for so it was totally impractical in the first place to even arrange it even though I told her and the flipping trainee midwife this.
Need to go to town today - realised yesterday that there is nothing in the house so should I end up going in ben and owen will be living off pasta and tinned sweetcorn! so need to go and get some bits and pieces to stock the fridge/freezer and cupboards with. Might sit on the wheel arch on the way into town though although am paranoid abotu my waters breaking in publicTime to find me again0 -
Pigpen men just dont get it look at my OH completely oblivious to how i was feeling until my melt down the other week i'm sure he will come good in the end if not cry it always works for me ((( Big HUGS))):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
