6 days overdue and I'm still here - however, definite period pain like twinges since about 4.30am this morning! Trying not to get my hopes up as nothing is regular or even really defined enough to time but if they're BHs - they're bloody stubborn! They were there when I was lying in bed, when I got up on my many nightly wee trips (oddly worse afterwards actually - normal?!?), when I was hoovering, on and off while I'm sitting here.

I kind of hope this is it, then I can avoid induction etc - but 1. I'm waiting in for a delivery! and 2. it's my birthday and I don't want to share!

    Hope all ladies/bumps are well.

Go jump in the bath. Not literally obviously :D but if they go then they say that'll be BH, if not, Welcome to the real thing :D

typically, I talk about them within earshot and they calm down again! Now the monster is just trying to turn his head around in my pelvis - owch! Got some skirtings to clean, fridge to sort out and a floor to mop today so we'll see if that gets him moving any.

Did the long, warm shower thing this morning and they eased during that but came back - if they come back again, will try a bath. Though, I think I should just move into the bath for all the time I've spent there the last couple of weeks!

I think I might just be grasping at straws, looking for this whole pregnancy thing to be over and done with!

Did you say its your birthday today Esio...? If so Happy Birthday! If not.. sorry I am a confused pregnant lady!!

Just curious.. is anyone planning on making/ buying a record book for their baby?? I know not everyone bothers, but I am quite keen with this being my first, I like the idea of keeping photos and details of weight, time spent in hospital, first word, etc all in a book for when the baby is older. I often ask my mum what my first word was and she replies no idea! If anyone is, is there anywhere is particular that is a good place to buy one of these record books? I am thinking of maybe making my own, but am not sure how to set it out, so I might just buy one as I am not feeling overly creative right now!

My baby is dancing.. in the same uncoordinated fashion as daddy!!!

I have random limbs poking is various directions at unequal intervals and a head rattling about in my pelvis like a pea in a bucket!

    Thanks :)

As for the book, I'm planning on it and if you find out somewhere, I'd love to know. I'm currently settling on a scrapbook type idea at the moment as I can't find a book that I really like. The ones I've seen are either Americanised or ask for too much gushy stuff like "letters from family" and "anticipating my arrival" bleh. I want one that's just factual with plenty of space for photos but no such like yet. Have you tried Amazon? They have a fair few there that aren't too badly priced, if you can find what you're looking for that is! John Lewis also had a couple last time I looked.

Lol Pigpen! I had this yesterday with my baby, right after I had eaten a roast dinner, I felt incredibly uncomfortable!! I couldnt even figure out what half the bits sticking out where, I swear its an octopus as there seemed to be so many arms!!

Esio; thanks am checking out Amazon now.. but the ones you 'look inside' do seem abit americanised and gushy as you say.. questions like 'why mummy and daddy chose my name' ... erm cuz we like the sound of it!! I cant imagine having any letters from family.. lol. And there are some questions about pregnancy... I felt SH*T... can I put that in my baby book?! Maybe I will look at one for ideas... and make my own :)

I seem to have a knee and foot poking out the left of the lump and an arm off to the right just above my pelvis.. and the head is trying to peep out to see if it is safe to escape I think!
