Happy Birthday Esio! Even though you don't want to share - I hope this is finally the start for you.
It is much too hot today, and I really don't want to do any more housework, or walk into town, both of which I have to do at some point.
Could've smacked OH last night after we had visitors - we never ever get them on days when the house looks presentable - and I said this. Little toad replied 'yes, we should make more effort'. I wouldn't mind, but he very rarely does any of the housey stuff, and makes ten times more mess than I bloody do. OK, the visitors were only his sister and neice, but it's beside the point.

Morning All
Just catching up with 5 pages as our internet has been down for 5 days and can only catch up at work (one reason to struggle in, during the heat!)
Congrats to conventgirl and LuceB84. Yay for team blue emsy!!
Had a weekend trying to avoid the heat, spent Saturday in the shops - bought 3 pairs of cropped trousers in the sale, trying to decide whether can wear them to work as I am wearing a dress but worrying re chaffing and can't do my longer leg trousers!! Was at the beach yesterday which was lush, think if it is hot on mat leave will be heading down on the train to avoid the heat. Please, please, please get cooler as didn't sleep at all on Friday night.Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

This weather in unbearable, I swear it was not this hot last year, its just typical its so hot when we're all pregnant and when we're not it'll be pouring!! Im in work today, think I need more honey as I am full up with hayfever and feeling carp. My eyes are killing and having 3 fans in the office isnt helping them, although I cant turn them off as the heat is too much. I just wana go home and sleep!
Pigpen: I think your baby is in the same position as mine, I find my pelvis is quite painful as it has been head down and putting pressure low down for weeks now.0 -
Just having a cheeky catch up from work...had a horrendous journey in as it was so hot, despite catching the train at 7.45am to try and miss the heat. Really thought I was going to pass out, the train was spinning and I was sweating L Anyway, got here in the end and the office is reasonably cool with air con. DH has suggested I bring a flannel and some ice in a bag which I think is a good idea. He’s also saying we can hire a portable air con for home if I need it, bless him (makes up for him being mean to me yesterday morning including calling me the world’s most boring person!).
I am also walking around the office in cropped trousers and a mat top, no shoes….my sandals are getting tight, am going to look for some Birkenstocks I think later.
Sir Monster – have been wondering if you were ok, bummer about the internet!
Delain – I’m so impressed you walked 5 miles, 6 weeks ago I walked a few 10 milers on holiday but now I am struggling with anything more than about half a mile.
Esio – hope this is it!
Ona – I am definitely going to try and breastfeed, and hope I will be able to persevere with it. For me it’s all the reasons pigpen said, plus the health etc and it should help me lose the weight!
Weight – I got weighed this am and have put on 1stone 3lb at 26 weeks. Better slow down on the pies I think!
Anyone else rubbish at doing their pelvic floor exercises? I know I need to I just hate doing them!

I've been getting some really painful kicks today
OH ordered some stuff from Tesco and some of it arrived today :j
It definitely wasnt' this hot last year, kitkat. It's sweltering even in the shade here! I'm staying in until I need to do the school run I think. We've got a cheapy shelf unit that I use to put shoes and bags on and it's overflowed all over the place, so the house looks a mess as soon as you open the front door, it's calling to me to sort it out!
Esio, happy birthday, just think, you may not want to share but how nice would it be just to not be pregnant in his heat!!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Hello all
day off work today have 4wks left at work but the next 3 I have mondays off then final week is a full week but its a quiet week for me in the year.
Have not done alot really put the washing out to dry as did it overnight, had some brekkie and then made a lasanga not sure if to have it for dinner tonight as its quite warm here. Ohh and cleaned the bath best I can - actually I have done a fair bit.
I must be strange as I love the hot weather pregnant or not, maybe because I can wear skirt and vest top to work so remain relatively cool, just not keen on hot nights.0 -

I'm still here - I think these are "just because" pains though. They're not getting longer/more painful/any closer together, just making me uncomfy so I think I'm here for a while yet. Midwife on Thursday - hopefully I'll not make it that far but at least an end is in sight after that as I'm sure she'll book me for induction then.
On the plus side, my dad just visited me and ordered the John Lewis crib and mattress on the other page for meLovely man

Rach they have some other offers on inc a vest top for £5 and a shrug for £5 so certainly some bargains on there, thought the tankini at £10 was a really good deal though0
