its those who have gone from school to jobcentre that f^%k me right off:mad:

That'll be my little sister then and yes is !!!!es me off too. To be fair to her a little she has had the odd job but been laid off after a few months from nursing homes and packing factories when contracts end but mostly out of work. She also lives in the middle of no where and isn't allowed to drive so that doesn't help. At 22 she is moving out this week into a young persons place so all her rent etc is gonna get paid for her not just job seekers anymore but hopefully as she is gonna be in town she'll be more likely to find something.

Oh smartie I've had that before, they demanded the full council tax payment, luckily it was the end of the year. Ours is due 1st every month now too, it used to be 28th, I only pay it by the middle of the month because I'm still mad at them for not claiming the money back they lost in iceland grrrr.

I hate the scooters too, especially when they go on the main road with no reg plate but then they run you over on the pavement!!

I had a shandy on Saturday evening smartie, proper alcoholic one (bad, bad mummy) but was only a half and probably 0.5 of a unit. Is it a can as they don't have hardly any alcohol anyway. Going out on Friday and will probably have one as is lovely on a schorchio day!!

Another scooter hater here! They should have to pass some sort of test to have them, cos most of the drivers are just selfish, nasty b!ggers. One of the charmers nearly ran OH mum over (she's almost 80 and nearly blind), and had the cheek to call her an old c!!t

Sonee, can't advise about the milk, but is your mum getting to stay? Can't remember if you said she could or not.

    Hi all

slm - glad all is ok. I've felt hardly anything since a giant kick/movement lat night and has been worrying me a bit but I reckon baby has moved! I am going to get a cold can in a moment and see if that wakes it up!

re shopping - I used to be a terrible shopaholic, one year I gave up shopping for lent and it literally changed my life! Now I hardly spend anything, although we are lucky enough to be ok for money up to a lot of people. Although we're saving hard for a deposit on a flat/house. I've got loads of lovely baby stuff but as you all know I've been lucky with my bargains!

sir M - hope your results come back ok. I am hoping to avoid any tablets if I do have an infection...I have a friend who is a GP who I can always ask for advice though he hates being asked outside of work!

kitkat - good news about the JSA. As others say there's a big difference between claiming for a while because you've been made redundant and claiming long term cos you can't be bothered to work...

pigpen - my friend lives near you and had an awful time getting work, just nothing around.

right, lunchbreak is over, had better get on. Had a lovely hour sitting outside in the shade helping colleague run a stall about bike week!

And yes have a shandy....I've been having them on the very very hot days.....although the food police has to measure it out for me coz he doesn't trust me:o:rotfl::rotfl:

They should definitely be on the road, or if possible in the bike lane of footpaths! They annoy me when I'm walking but also when I'm driving....think I'm in a no-win situation:p

oooh, and last one - old people...on Sat I had to sit in front of 2 old women on the bus who had not a good word to say about anyone or anything. Including moaning at the size of someone's pram (which was a bugaboo so not exactly giant!) and then saying 'you see those women around with their babies in a sling on their front, it's so selfish, what if they fell etc.'. I almost turned around and said, 'so I can't have a pram, I can't have a sling...what exactly do you want me to do'!!
