Pigpen, that's absolutely disgraceful treatment. How can they try and force you to have your baby were you plainly don't want to have it?

You're slightly scaring me though, as you say you live in Yorkshire, practically next to the sea - please tell me it's not Scarborough (you don't have to say where!)

MW eventually made it here just after 3. Everything spot on, bubs was actually head down for a change, but had it's body curled up in a weird way.

No, Hull... and I am almost angry enough to start crying.. which makes me even more angry because they will not have the power to make me this angry...

KK I know what you mean I can't believe I'm 27 weeks soon and down to less than 100 days. Re pushchairs I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees a pushchair and goes back for another look!! Re the bugaboo it does seem good, but is quite expensive I think £500 for the travel system.

Yes the bugaboo new is really expensive thats why i'm looking at ebay don't want to spend more than £200!!!!!!!

Pigpen stick to your guns just ignore them nobody at all can make you do anything you don't want to do, your body your baby!!!!

I told the second midwife to 'suggest' sterilisation to me that i wanted it written in my notes that i did not want it talked about again and if it was i would be putting in a complaint!!!!!!

Does anyone know if you can get Braxton's so early am only 18 wks but getting some bad cramps, i can't rememer from last time!!!!
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.

Hugs pigpen It is unacceptable that they wont listen but they will just see it as they are just doing their jobs which in away i suppose they are. You have two choices really completely ignore them and get on with it or accept they are going to question your choices listen to their carp with a painted on smile then doing what you want anyway either way you win but second option may get them off your back quicker. I really dont know why they are making such a fuss about it im using an out of area hospital and i get non of this at all :-)

I started with BH at about 18 weeks but didn't realise what it was. Apparently they can start as early as 16.

I just bounce on mine and rock my pelvis. I find it good when I have backache it seems to ease it really well.
I hope that my child, looking back on today
    Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

Pigpen: I can't believe how ridiculous that MW was. Why can't they just listen to what you want?! I see my MW but she doesn't keep contacting me, seems to respect my wishes and leave me alone. It's almost pointless me seeing her as I barely do but been as it's my 1st child and I'm clueless I'm attending all appointments!

OH is taking me shopping to get hosp bag stuff and try out prams tomorrow :D is it sad how excited I am!?
