I'm not breast feeding either , I haven't got the time and nor do I want to, well I half half do but common sense says No as I know it's the wrong thing for me.
TBH I hate the breastfeeding debate in general as I've seen too many times it being slated.
What bad mothers we all are!0 -
Re BF I will give it a go, but if it makes me stressed/unhappy etc then I will stop I don't care what people say is my life/babies as pigpen says they can off!! Also I will be using disposable nappies as I can't be bothered with the extra washing. I also know that housework will be kept to a minimum at first as prob will be too tired - tut, tut, tut!!
I know some of you have already joined the bad mummies thread and I'm sure I will be there when bubs comes.Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

do you know what....we will all be great mums as our babys will be loved. And that's all that matters! If parenting was an exact science there would be a handbook on eactly how to do it and we wouldn't need forums like this!
One of the things I love about this thread is the fact that we all have slightly different opinions and priorities on things but we are able to support and advise one another.

Well non of mine have been in parent facing pushchairs it doesnt seem to have done them any harm at all infact i think its done the opposite and made them more independant and happy to communicate with others around them instead of clinging to me for dear life.
As for breastfeeding well i tried and i failed and i will try again with this one but i wont be feeling guilty if it doesnt work out mine have all thrived on the bottle.
Each to their own you have to do what makes you and baby happy and a stressed out mommy is never a good thing.
I say all this a fully fledged memeber of the Bad Mommys thread and proud to be so i'm a human being not a robot and we all do the best we can and make the best decisions we can based on what we are faced with at the time ;-D x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -

Well now this IS bad parenting! Don't you know pastries are one of baby's essential food groups? Along with haribo, dairy milk and pickled chillies! :rotfl::rotfl:Bellymonkey due 25/09/10 :j0 -

Yah finally can say Ive done my hospital bag, minus a couple of things im still using. What do people find they want to eat and drink during labour, ie mostly sweet or savoury.
Im sure im missing things though. If anyone wouldnt mind sharing their list i would really appreciate it so I can check against what I have already.
JayI hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.0 -
