Hello ladies - I'm still lurking here - the parenting thread is still a bit too big, scary and way too fast moving!

Congrats to Mr and Mrs AB ...and Smartie PMSL at your demon baby! You'll have a good laugh with him/her about it in the future.

I know this should really be on the referrals board but I don't 'know' anyone on there. I've entered a pic of Thomas and DH in the hipp fathers day competition. If any of you are members would you mind voting for them? The unique ID number is 24016.

    http://www.hippbabyclub.co.uk/baby-photo-competition-search/

ETA if you're not members it's well worth joining. You get a free weaning spoon when you join up then around Thomas's due date they sent me an elephant comforter as well.

    Another quickie question...

I know hormones are raging during pregnancy, but is it normal to feel like snapping someones/anyones head off one moment, and wanting to cry the next?

A bit like PMT I guess..but worse. And does it last all the way through?

Hi everyone, didn't get up till late today. Lazed around and did a bit of housework. Been to the gym. Find that i have to do things like housework, a bit at a time, as my asthma is not good. Been getting pains in my tummy and what feels like tighenings. It is normal to get tightenings, im 23 + 2 days. I get my exam results on tuesday, am counting down.

We are going to try and finish baby's nursery off on saturday. Baby is getting more active.

    Congrats Army.

MV Oh yes definitely, especially in the 1st trimester I was snapping DH's head off and then crying in the street cos I missed the bus!! I personally found it got easier as I have got on but still end up crying over little things and if DH winds me up I still snap.

Smartie that pic is funny, looks spooky!!

Rach hope not too stressed re work I know the commute gets to you. I ended up asking someone for a seat today on the tram as no-one was going to offer me one and it went OK. Best to take your time and if you need a seat ask for one.

Labour vibes to those that need them.

So glad is Friday then I have a whole week off, can't wait for all the rest!!

    Thanks for answering Sir M.

I'm sure it is completely normal, it's just all so irrational. I snapped a work colleagues head off the minute I walked into the office this morning, and it kind of went downhill from there.

Hated everyone on my commute home, and had a massive go at OH because he didnt answer the phone to me earlier (becuase he had his ipod on and couldnt hear it!)

Had a good old cry earlier though...and feel a bit better. Think today is best written off!

Moneysaver - we are doing some more to the baby's room on sat too...won't be finished for a while but we're going to move the furniture around a bit and put the cot up

    smartie - love it!!

I have been feeling really sick all evening :( possibly the giant bag of salt & vinegar crisps I ate at lunchtime :o. Am also worried about how I'll manage at work, I'm so tired when I do anything at all at the moment. I guess I can only go and see! I will do a 10-4 day which is as short as I can do and see what happens. At least it's only one day.

good luck for the scan tomorrow fuzz

I am feeling loads more movement and kicks now :)
