I really want to meet bubs now, I'm desperate to find out if they are pink or blue. I have been really busy today preparing for DD's birthday party tomorrow, still got loads to do but can't really get it done until DD is in bed so I'm having a rest
Smartie are you sure you're not a scriptwriter for Eastenders? If not you should be cos your cliffhangers are WAAAAAAY more intriguing (or else I'm too nosy for my own good)
Congrats Mr and Mrs Armybike, and welcome to the world Isobelle Ivy.

afternoon ladies. i have a quick question for the ones on here who have much more wisdom than me!!
since just before 1pm today ive been getting really bad pains at the top of my bump. at the start i thought it was heartburn/indigestion but now i am in agony. ive taken gaviscon/rennies nothing has lifted the pain. and now it doesnt feel like indigestion its definatley a stabbing sort of pain like a knife going in and being twisted(gross i know but its the only way i can describe it. i phoned the community midwife and her phone is off
have any of you experienced this? i kind of want to go to the hospital to get it checked out but im afraid il look stupid espically if it turns out to be just indigestion. can indigestion be this painful?0 -
Congrats Mr and Mrs AB!
Labour vibes to what seems like loads of people!
I had a car crash today. I don't think it was my fault, I was reversing down the street and stopped as a nutter drove round me, then another did the same and caught the back of me. He said I did it reversing but I was just sitting there so I guess it will be down to the insurance to sort. He even came over on the bounce and tried to get my car door open while I was sitting there. Luckily, I always lock it, but he was horrible and then refused to give me his details I only managed to get his reg and a name and mobile number that I passed to the insurance company.
The important thing is it was just a scratch to both cars and no-one hurt, but bubs has been kicking like mad since. Perhaps my bp has gone up?
Grrrrr...MENBellymonkey due 25/09/10 :j0 -
dreambirdie - I don't know I'm afraid but I'm pretty sure after 24 weeks you can phone through to the labour ward for advice.
BudgetBlonde - how awful. It's probably just that you've been worrying and stressing and as you say BP has gone up. Sounds like not a nice man!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
