Been for my sweep,I'm only 1cm dialated and 2cm long cervix which isn't favourable.
I've been booked in for another sweep next week.

    Hello all

I am shattered :( no idea how I am going to work tomorrow...all I have done is drive to 2 peoples houses to pick up some stuff and go round the shops in the little town nearby

Got a great bargain though...I went to Tesco and using my vouchers got a free pack of huggies and a pack of huggies wipes which were reduced already with a £1 off voucher...so spent a grand total of 24p!
Ooooh that means I've got 100 days :j:j

Good luck Rach with your free stuff, I should be more organised like you as you get all the bargains!!
lol I do like a bargain! lovely little cardis and the snow suit will be perfect for the winter, all look brand new!!

High chair is great, straps need a bit of a good scrub but I think I am going to leave it at the in laws anyway as we won't need it for a few months and don't have the space here. I have left it in the car for now as they were out but will stick it in their garage.

We now have 3 boxes of beers in the kitchen!!! *rolls eyes*:rotfl:I have been overlooking the 1/2 beers he's been having at weekends but now I've been reminding him of what he said!;):p

I had a godalmighty pain last night which made me scream and DH jump:eek:

Smartie; I don't think my OH has ever drank so much since I have been pregnant, he is very cruel!

My DH is not drinking at the moment but at first he was drinking more than usual as I was going to bed early so he'd have a beer!

Dont be too down hearted i was only 1 cm dilated for nearly 48hrs with the first then everything just started moving. I never got to have a sweep so hopefully it may kick start everything for you. Huge Labour vibes for you :-)

    Congrats Armybike!!!

Not sure if anyones interested but I requested a brochure from the silvercross website afew days ago and it came yesterday as I am considering a silvercross pram. They send you a £5 gift voucher which can be used online, you just register an account and register your gift voucher. There are some toys which are £5 and delivered free so not too bad (I think they look small but for free its very good! Obviously you can also use it for £5 off expensiver items!) they also have a sweet 'baby on board' plush hedgehog for £5 (I would have ordered this but have been told I am not allowed a baby on board sign.. nevermind a teddy lol)

Smartie; I don't think my OH has ever drank so much since I have been pregnant, he is very cruel!

Oooh I need a baby on board sign - might have a look and order a brochure.
Mamas & Papas do the same when you order their catalogue.

Ethel; I ordered a little beanie from there with the silvercross voucher, and when I ordered it I decided I wanted the 'baby on board' hedgehog.. so have requested a catalogue for my mum so she can order it lol. I had the Mamas and Papas voucher, I ordered a little chime rabbit when they had their free delivery on. I love getting something for nothing :D

    Congratulations Mr and Mrs AB:D:D

Had a lovely time at tots group and home for K to have a nap while I had a lovely lunch, but then unfortunately ended up on the loo with a bad bum!! Not feeling too bad now, thankfully.

I have just been on a cleaning/tidying spree as the midwife is due for home visit tomorrow afternoon, but we are out at the hospital in the morning for ds2's physio appt, so no time to tidy in the morning;)

Hazzie; hopefully the sweep will kick start things

Don't how I am going to make it to 40 weeks, I am 31 weeks tomorrow and I feel so uncomfortable and heavy at the moment, I actually felt good until last night and I am sure the baby has lowered itself and made me feel alot of pressure down low and feel heavy and uncomfortable :(

    Congrats to the armybikes x

Fuzz good luck for your scan.

My tankini arrived today and I'm really please with it. It is very long but I can see myself needing that as the bump grows but it fits reasonably well now. It was a little loose around the top but its halterneck so I've tightened it as much as I can and tried hanging upside down as much as I could to make sure I wasn't going to fall out of it or be all on display and it looks good. Not going to aqaunatal tonight though, my cold is still niggling and I don't wanna be spreading the germs so I might get to use it at the weekend if we take the kids to the pool.

Good luck with your scan tomorrow Fuzz; the 20 week scans are really good and its amazing to see how much the baby has grown from the tiny blob it was on the 12 week scan :)
