sir_monster wrote: »MV Oh yes definitely, especially in the 1st trimester I was snapping DH's head off and then crying in the street cos I missed the bus!! I personally found it got easier as I have got on but still end up crying over little things and if DH winds me up I still snap.
Rach hope not too stressed re work I know the commute gets to you. I ended up asking someone for a seat today on the tram as no-one was going to offer me one and it went OK. Best to take your time and if you need a seat ask for one.
So glad is Friday then I have a whole week off, can't wait for all the rest!!
And re the crying...I cried in starbucks last week as I ordered an iced latte but meant a frappucino and i was gutted when the 'wrong' thing came!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Can't believe how many of you will have your babies in the next week! Good luck & labour vibes to all who want them.
I saw on hotdeals Tommy Tippee Closer to Nature 6 Bottles for £9.99. I just got a pack and they have slow flow teats. Anyone know if they are any good? I planning on breast feeding and only want them for expressed milk. First baby here and a bit clueless.

I'm sure it is completely normal, it's just all so irrational. I snapped a work colleagues head off the minute I walked into the office this morning, and it kind of went downhill from there.
Hated everyone on my commute home, and had a massive go at OH because he didnt answer the phone to me earlier (becuase he had his ipod on and couldnt hear it!)
Had a good old cry earlier though...and feel a bit better. Think today is best written off!
Not just me that has snapped at colleagues then!! Also have been in tears in the office, first time in 3 years I have worked there!Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

Hi there - this sounds like a normal day for me! I think I've probably had less dramatic mood swings (from anger to upset in less than 10 seconds...) since I passed the 13-14 week mark, but I can still get quite tetchy quite quickly...0 -

I know hormones are raging during pregnancy, but is it normal to feel like snapping someones/anyones head off one moment, and wanting to cry the next?
A bit like PMT I guess..but worse. And does it last all the way through?
It can.. I was like a woman possessed when pg with DD1.. sadly the attitude I went through pregnancy with the baby seemed to inherit.. or maybe I was emulating them.. either way she was a pig of a baby!!
I've just been incredibly tired with this one but that is likely because I am old!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
We will be putting our cot together too Rach. We need to put wardrobe together and move the furniture around, it will then start to look more like a nursery.
I find that i don't have as much patience and i get tearful too.Married 09/09/090 -

morning everyone x
Rach I hope its not too bad back at work today x I really want to start my maternity as early as possible because I think I'm going to struggle but I need to finish the coursework I'm doing and it normally takes a year to complete and I only started in feb. The second part of the coursework is NVQ like and I need to be at work to show evidence of competence.
Smartie I can see why they call the poor thing the devil baby, it's a scary picture. When DS was going to be born they were discussing when to do the c-section and if it had been one day earlier he would have been born on the 6th june 2006, I was so glad they said wednesday. It prevented many fights with OH who would have insisted he was called damien if born a day earlier.0 -
Morning all
Busy day for me today.... Have ds2 at physio this morning then back for a quick hoover round before midwife arrives. I also want to get dh to mow the back lawn;)

Good Morning Ladies
Oh Redmel I'm a bit jealous of your home birth I haven't quite got the guts plus OH looked at me like I was some knid of lunatic. We only live 5 mins from hospital but he wasn't having any of it, so I'm going to stay at home as long as poss before going in - providing I eventually go into labour on my own accord. Saz yr post about peoples helpful suggestions for inducing labour made me chuckle.Mam 2 Big E Nov 4 & Little A June 10:happylove0
