good luck for the scan big bird, and fuzz for yours on friday. That has come round really quickly. Now I think about it there is only 5-6 weeks till I should be getting my next scan. I bet this part goes so much faster now there is so much less worrying.

I love my manager at work, she let me leave at 9pm last night, I think I looked a bit tired. Unfortunatley she is on holiday now, so I'm not working with her until July which means I have to work all my hours grrr. I'm on with the same locum though every night I think all the rest must be on holiday too.

I ordered a tankini and shorts set yesterday because I noticed after aquanatal last week that mine was stretched a bit too much and probably just old, had it since DD was born so over 5 years. I hope it isn't too big and I can use it straight away. Not sure if I'll go this week as I still have a cough and a bit snotty, don't wanna be spreading germs round.

Labour vibes for those that need them x

    Glad I made you laugh:p

It might be a good idea to have a couple of back-ups...I know someone who named their baby in utero, told people and everyone referred to the bump as 'Bethany':).... problem is she's stuck with a name that even her Mum admits doesn't suit her:eek: They tried to change her name at the beginning to something that would suit her laods better but unfortunately she'd be Bethany for so long already that noone remembered, her parents gave in and registered her as Bethany..still really annoys her Mum if mentioned and Bethany is now 5!!!

I have a definite girls & boys name but I'm looking for more as $ods law dictates that the above would happen to me too:p:rotfl:

We've picked our girl's name but I'm not that keen on the boy's name we've chosen. It's "OK" but I don't know if I want to go with it - problem is we can't come up with any alternatives at all!
If anyone has any suggestions we'd love to hear.

    Hello all!

I think this theory about baby names is right, I am sure I am having a boy and I am struggling sooo much with boys names, I have hundreds of girls!! Prob is all the names I like seem to begin with a C or K and OH's surname begins with a K and I think it will be too much! The one boys name I love is Theo :) I am sure my family/ or friends will slate it though, but I will try get a few name books from the library and look for a 2nd and 3rd choice :) oh and some definate girls name just incase!

Bit disappointed just found out the woman who is covering part of my job when I'm on leave is being promoted to deputy manager, feel abit like me being pregnant has lost me the promotion as I work above her anyway and she is always making mistakes and skiving work all the time. Nevermind!

Smartie; Love your DS's name! Very ususual! Kinda reminds me of a famous singer... :) hope your feeling better now.

Tink: how very creative making your own bedding and curtains, I really wish I had this skill!!! I can alter curtains, and make a dog bed with the excess!!! :p Thats as far as I go!!

It has taken me ages to come up with any boys names but we now have 2 we like. Also got 2 girls names, one I really like is a slight variation of a more comman name and I've never heard anyone called it before - then dd told me one of the mums at school as just called their newborn girl the same name .

I'm due back at work soon as my wound from surgery is healing well - luckily, when I go back I'm only back for 3 weeks as I have 2 weeks annual leave booked then maternity leave starts woo hoo!
