Hi ladies and Gents (if any still on here)

Moses basket - I got mine from Toys R US. It does say as a warning on it, not to use to carry baby. Am guessing thats health and safety incase the handles do snap. So I will be carrying mine with my arm underneath.

    TT congrats on engagement.
    Nice bump pics ladies.
Sorry to hear your news Michelle, fingers crossed for labour going quick.

NV, it hits me everytime I look at a certain baby outfit a friend bought me. The cot, push chair, nappies and other clothes dont seem to register. But then neither does bump, or increased boobs or increased appetite / swollen ankles etc, but this one outfit is guaranteed to make me panic and think I am actually going to have a baby soon. My OH, just thinks I am mad!

KK ~ ive got some funky stuff for a bit of energy when needed, so some upbeat motown/disco etc and then ive got some more chilled out relaxed stuff like James Taylor, Simon Webbe and of course the one person who is going to get me through all of it..... Michael Buble xx

Ooh thats a good idea Cafc, I didn't think about different moods like having relaxed or more upbeat music, maybe I will get OH to work on something. Have to admit I do like Michael Buble atm, my dad asked for his CD for his birthday on thurs, I kinda wana keep it myself!

Sir M: I have the mothercare please look after me bedding, it is sooo nice :)

Its sooo hot this avo, cant wait to get home but gota meet my mother and take her shopping to tescos. Really really need gaviscon.... i hate heartburn so much

ive put on 2 stone during my pregnancy.....that was a bit scary.... especially since we were given the estimate of babys weight at our scan.... so im thinking what the hell is gonna happen to the rest of it!!!!?????

I've gained about 3.5 so far I think.. I am not 100% what I was before TBH.. but I wasn't this much!!
Pigpen all i can say is you must carry weight really well as you dont look like you have any excess weight on you, as you can see from my pic my !!! is almost the same size as my bump lol ;-)

Cafc its water and it will all come out with the baby you will probably find you have only actually put about a third of all that weight on in actual bodily weight so to speak :-)

I kept my butt out of the pic lol... My boobs kind of bring it back into proportion somewhat as well which helps.. If I was a B cup i'd look mahoosive.. at a G it ain't so bad lol I have fairly chunky pit pony style legs too.. I do NOT blow over in the wind!

CAFC.. extra fluid, blood, placenta, boob, body fat.. it all adds up.. I have gained about 5 stone with a few of mine and other than after DD3 it has always come straight off again. You will spend the first 2-3 weeks after the birth peeing like you did in the first trimester!

convent - my only advice is get on all fours scrubbing the floor and bounce like a trooper on a gym ball! Speaking of which im off to "ball

xmas - that works out alright then.... i could do with keeping that bit of excess as i was underweight to start with, so if i keep that bit thats left, i'll finally be the right weight for the first time ever......

Anyone having a carrycot? I had one with the last pushchair so never bothered with a moses basket. I have posted before that i dont really like moses baskets after the handle snapped on my daughters whilst i was carrying her in it luckily i had the sense to carry it with my arm underneath but could have been a completely different story if i hadnt have been. Anyways now im wondering weather to get one for new babs as the carrycot is being sold with the puschair as it all comes as a set and im sure they are alot better these days ?

We have the moses basket and stand from dd and we are getting a carrycot with the pram. I was planning on using the carrycot during the day and keeping the moses basket upstairs for night time - saves moving it up and downstairs.
OH has now seen a crib he likes so wants us to have that for the bedroom and keep the moses basket downstairs.

Sir Monster - we bought new covers for our old moses basket in the 'please look after me' range. Someone was selling seconds on ebay and it included the mattress - only a little mark on them and can't even see when on. Included hood, basket liner and cover. Looks very cute. We've just bought the crib set from Mothercare too while reduced.

This is why I don't get offered a seat on public transport :p they think I'm fat and don't want to offend me!!! This is despite my baby on board badge me thinks they are too selfish, another reason why I didn't go into work today as can't cope with the tram journey although so nice woman did offer me a seat yesterday :j:j

KK - If you've got the cd just copy it to your itunes, and give the cd to your dad..... his latest album is good, I loved his audience with..... it just wasnt on for long enough.....
ive also got some 80's/90's rock on there just because they make me smile, i mean just thinking about whitesnake with their leather trousers and blonde mullets................. :)

re weight - ive got written in my notes how much i weighed at 20 week appt, and then i snuck on the scales on my many visits to day assessment last week, so ive put on a bit more im sure as i dont know what i was pre pregnancy.....i forgot about placenta.... opps LOL

got to admit not much about labour etc is scaring me now (well today) but just thinking about the first toilet visit afterwards is making me nervous LOL all ive read anywhere is to keep a jug by the loo and pour warm water over bits as you pee to help......

Apparently moist toilet paper is a godsend too? Not sure how true that is but have bought a little supply just in case!
