Tigtag- congrats on engagement and lovely bump.

Michelle- woo hoo! Hope all goes quick and easy for you. Sorry to hear your sad news thinking of you and your family :( but I agree with the "as one enters the world another leaves" theory. My Grandma passed away just after DD was born, and my DH aunt (Who was only 45) died when I was about 6 months PG.

I am shattered today. Been out getting pressies for DD's birthday on Fri, exactly 1 week before Due date, so hoping bubs doesn't arrive on her big day! Can't believe she is going to be 2 already, where has that time gone! My mum always says to me "you think thats bad, wait until she is 27" :)

Labour vibes to Hazzie and Saz and anyone else who wants bubbas to hurry up!

I go out for lunch and loads has happened!!

How exciting michelle about the show, but so sorry about your uncle. hope it all goes smoothly for you.

Our cotbed is here, it's still in bits in the hallway but I'll bring the smaller bits up bit by bit I think, dh can do the bigger ones. Apparently it's v easy to put together and my friends organised hubby had kept the instructions :T he has offered to come and help put it together if we need him to! It's a bit more orange pine than I would've chosen but beggars can't be choosers as it were and it's in great condition. I think it's this one. They offered us the mattress (friends had had a discussion about whether to bring it...she said no, he is a GP and said no reason why not) but I declined in the end, think i'd rather get a new one.

Just had a text from MiL asking me to help out at the youth group for an hour tomorrow eve. I stopped doing it recently as they wind me up and I hated it by the end but sounds like she's stuck. I really don't know what to say - they do so much for us but I am meant to be off sick etc.

Have an appointment for my eyebrows done at 3.15 then Sainsburys order at 4-5.

I have one from mothercare.. mattress comes with them if new usally and the stands are extra as tey do a few different types!
Michelle Yay for show:j but sorry to hear the news about your Uncle:(
If it helps its always been my firm belief that someone has to go from the family to make way for a new addition:)..seems to be the case with my lot! Dhs grandad died in December(not unexpectedly) and I got my bfp in Feb after 11months of trying...kinda proves my theory;):)

Hope all goes well for you xxxx

Indeed... I have either been to a funeral during the pregnancy or within weeks of the birth.

I have my uncles funeral this Friday, he died at the beginning of March and the german authorities are $h!t$.

I got mine 2nd hand, it's a mothercare one and has a mamas & papas stand with it, was £12 with some sheets. I am buying a new mattress for it though.

Thanks for support ladies. Im just thinking about giving birth now, its strange as I feel so focused. Contractions are every 10 mins now. Still not painful?! I am expecting it though. :)

Just sat down and put on my 'water proof' and pregnancy resistant make up! lol :rotfl: Dont ask, yes I am one of these women who will not leave the house until my face is made up- not my fault being a natural ginge so need colouring in a bit to look alive.

Going to dry and straighten my hair now.

Ive not rang the hospital yet, should I bother or just wait?

Im sorry pigpen, but that spotty whale comment nearly made my waters break through laughing! I have lots of nighties like that, im actually sat in a white one with black stars on it- horrendous but cheap and comfy!

I think I need some nighties, I have one pair of pjs that fit but when they're in the wash (like today) I end up just in my dressing gown all evening!

I am heading back out, feel like I need to stretch my legs a bit more and so will walk the long way round to my appointment.

Michelle.. I was trying to help :p! I didn't find it hurt until I got to about 5cm.. then it improved a bit after that.

Rach.. you could just say you are off sick for a reason and don't feel it is a good idea to be helping out there even if you are pouring drinks for an hour.

Xmas.. someone told me I was huge the oter day.. I was most upset... I am a LOT smaller with this one than I was with most of the others!
