Hi ladies
I'm skimming thrrough the posts slowly as haven't been here for a few days -just trying to catch up.
Congratulations on your engagement Tigtag .
Easy labour vibes for you Michelle and sorry to hear about your sad news.
Labour vibes for anybody else who requires them.
I am 36 weeks today and I'm feeling it now-I can barely walk and am waddling around.I've also had crutches from physio but I can't really get the hang of them either.I'm just sitting around stuffing my face with food as I'm staying with mum now until the birth and for 6 weeks after until I recover from c section. Not having to do anything is so boring but I'm getting waited on and treated by mum and siblings so that is nice too.
Mose baskets! I'm having one but don't know what sis is going to choose as I'm on team yellow but I have hinted that I wouldn't mind pink for a girl and maybe humphreys corner for a boy but I will have to wait and see.
Also boots have the zooby moses basket reduced by 20% which is unisex and nice and bright.Babiesrus are quite good with baskets too-don't forget the £5 off when you spend £30 from the babiesrus mailing.
Is it just me who doesn't like the new Avent golden coloured bottles?I think I will be exchanging mine for the original versions or some other brand-the milk looks yellow in the new versions.
sorry for the long postxLove can tame the wildest0 -

It was the midwife that mentioned it at my last appointment. She said that depending on your 'treatment' they sometimes do a cervical scan to see how 'its holding up' - she said to mention it to my consultant next time I am there which is at the begining of July.BudgetBlonde wrote: »They found strep B in a high vaginal swab I had when I was in hospital with bleeding at 16 weeks and have said I need to go on a drip when my waters brea. The mw told me that it's a shunt in the hand and you don't need to be connected the whole time they just top it up every couple of hours and she said I could still use the pool if I wanted - maybe your area is different but it's worth checking.
I will ask this in case I do have to go on the drip (all swabs have been neg to date). With DD2 though the drip stayed in for the whole labour although 1) I wouldn't have been able to have a water birth with her anyway and 2) it was almost 8 years ago!!Forgot to say congratulations to TigTag- sorry! How did he propose?
Thank you M (and all) - he wrote 'Marry Me' in yellow rose petals on the bed and also got down on one knee:D
Sorry for your loss but massive massive labour vibes to you, haz and (was it?) Sarah.
Loving the bump pics and hugs to all

Ahhhhh I wonder what "special poo's" are like......

Sob... nobody missed me:(:p
Been poorly and feeling down. Doc wants to see me cos of bad blood test results... but I think it's Crohns related. Couldn't get an appointment until next Mon evening.
Had a looooong power cut on Sat evening so spent an hour or so going through my name book... I don't like any boys names!!
LOTS of labour vibes for those who need them. I need cheering up with some baby pics;)
Had a quick whizz through and spotted some bump pics so here's mine at 26 weeks!:DBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
I had a 'special poo' only cos it didn't make my pile bleed, was like yours Cafc plenty of it. But nothing has changed so it was just a good clear out.I must admit having a poo when pushing is probably my biggest birthing fear.
A little tip for weeing after birth is to lean forward when having a tinkle, stops the wee from dribbling towards the sore bit.Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -
ah ha more post birth toilet tips, love it!
Am much like you hazzie - the fear of pooping during labour is driving me insane. i know noone tells you if you have, unless its your partner having no tact whatsoever.... or you see them whizz something off, or the little fish net comes out whilst you're in the birth pool LOL
Lovely bump Smartie - do you like more traditional names or want something unique for baby boy? Im gonna rack my brains whilst eating my garlic bread for you xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Congrats Tigtag
good luck michelle
hope everyone else is well
had my 30 week midwife apt today, pee ok , bloods done, measuring about 10 days ahead for the third time so my hospital apt has been moved forward so I can have a growth scan in two weeks time and maybe get my dates moved forward. Bubs is head down, so everything is looking good. Might have to queue jump !!!Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -

Unique;) It wouldn't be fair on DS if his brov/sis had a "normal" name... although the boy's name I wanted right from the start isn't unique but DH doesn't like it and it's got really popular now.
We have several girls names in mind but I would like to have a few boys names "on the list" for when bubs pops out and shows us his/her bits!!:)
I had garlic bread just now:eek::eek::eek: Spooky!:rotfl:
Talking of spooky... I called my cat over this morning. His name is Poppet BUT ummm I called him Spooky????!!! Where I got that from I don't know:o:rotfl:Stupid preg brain!!BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120
