Can I have some labour vibes please,3 days to go and I'm pretty fed up.
Lots of vibes hazzie! I know EXACTLY how you feel since were due on the same day. I have midwife appointment on Thursday and if I am late I will possibly just cry all the way through it. Have you had any cramping at all? I dont know whether it's baby's head being so deep in pelvis but can barely walk at the moment and just feeling miserable. Cant even talk to anyone and absolutely SICK to death of people predicting the arrival or asking me if theres any news.
Moneysaver: The best thing to do with friends/family causing you stress when they know you are pregnant is IGNORE them as they are clearly not worth your time if they arent going to think about yours and the baby's health. I know it sounds harsh but my mum is the same and I find it easier to sometimes ignore her call or text and speak to her when Im feeling in a better mood to deal with any random moans she has.Back to school tomorrow, or at least school opens again tomorrow so I'll have to start setting cover again. I'm due back at the end of the week but there's no way at all I'm gonna be able to teach so this afternoon I've put together a letter to the Head outlining what I can do and to see whether he wants me in or whether he'll decide to suspend me on full pay. Just thinking about going back is making me feel incredibly anxious
It's raining here, glad the weather's cooled down
Are your school making you set cover?? Surely if you are on long term sick you shouldnt be doing this?! If they get in a long term supply teacher to replace you, it is their responsibility to produce resources, etc. I know its hard not to set cover and might feel guilty but if you are not in school, you are NOT IN SCHOOL!
Had period pains ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL day, no patterns or anything (like coming and going), just constant. I feel very down at the moment. I hope things start soon.:(:(:(:( Not sure whether its the baby's head being so low down?? And still leaking. Especially at night.
Glad youre ok CAFC.

I have been in the most ratty, irritable mood all weeked - everyone and everthing has annoyed me. Feeling very guilty now the kids are tucked up in bed and looking like little angels. :-(
Lots of labour vibed for anyone who wants them.0 -

You do need to take care though if your skin is drying out, as I said. Also, bepanthen (sp?) might be good as this provides a barrier as well.
haha that made me laugh. :rotfl::T
Will gives those tips a try lol.2017 - no clutter to be seen challenge: 72/2017

*LOTS OF LABOUR VIBES TO HAZZIE AND MICHELLE!*
My sis has just been over, she kindly bought some bits for the baby; cream fleece dungarees, 3 x newborn hats, 3 x next 0-3 hats, 2 x mothercare booties, and a next teddy. She also bought me some beautiful wine glasses (for when I can drink!) and a pasta jar. I thought it was very sweet of her, especially as my mum had also bought me some bits for the baby today!
Had a productive afternoon; sorting baby clothes! I now have newborn and 0-3 in the wardrobe with toys and other bits and pieces underneath, sorted all the blankets and towels into the ottoman, put all booties/ hats/ socks/ scratch mitts into the wicker baskets on the changing unit, and put all the clothes in sizes 3-6 and 6-9 in my wardrobe. Also grabbed all the clothes that are suitable just for a girl or boy and put them into a bag and I will just take out what I need when the baby is bornthis baby defo has more clothes than me!!! I was amazed as there is probably 10 items I have bought new, and all the rest has been bought 2nd hand and you really cannot tell (bar it not having labels still on!) Just got some bits and pieces to wash, I am going to leave the new stuff unwashed atm with labels still on incase it doesn't get used and then I can return items.
Feel like I am getting there gradually! Just need a bigger house so its not such a squeeze in here!!!0 -
Well i have done absolteuly nothing all day.. it has been lovely!!!
Back to school runs and chaos tomorrow though.
Baby has trampolinitis tonight and I feel VERY battered.. I swear it has 97 legs!!
I have enough in early baby and newborn size and 2 sleepsuits in 0-3.. one is pink and one is jungley patterned.. so I MAY consider buying a few more bits in this size once the grant comes through.. I have 3 outfits in each size up to 6-9 months.. I only put them in clothes if we are going somewhere interesting otherwise they spend much of the first 9 months in sleepsuits!
We are requesting no toys for christmas but vouchers/clothes/money would be much appreciated otherwise by easter my baby will be naked! lol.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Pigpen: I think my baby will spend most of it's 1st year of life in sleepsuits! I have odd outfits but very few.0

OMG I am so uncomfortable, at least the acid reflux is under control (mostly) but I am just feeling so fat and heavy now....Still 3wks to go!! I still haven't even packed a birth bag...I really need to find the motivation from somewhere. The problem is there is a half built chest of drawers taking up the nursery so I can't really get to the baby clothes that are all in bags in the cot....Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
My bag is all packed, but it looks like it's packed for a week
hopefully we won't need it all :rotfl: and I really should put it away somewhere because it's sat on my sofa and has been for ages

I think I am still in denial that I am having a baby:o But I suppose I should at least prepare, even if I want to stay in denial:p

I would be in denial too except getting kicked in the bladder at 2am is pretty hard to ignore
My nan is in denial about it. After telling me off she hasn't mentioned it once :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
