morning again, luckily OH got to work and they hadn't cancelled the holiday he had booked by mistake so he came home again. Since he was home and could do the kids breakfast and get them dressed I went back to bed for a couple of hours. Feel a bit better now, not so tired, still have a slight headache, and snotty but hopefully it'll be all gone tomorrow.
neneromanova I'm so sorry to hear about your nan x0 -
nene - sorry to hear about your nan. my gran is not doing particularly well and I'm just hoping she will live/be lucid enough to see the baby
merfe - do you think maybe you partly woke up so early as you went to bed so early? I am finding that I can't stay in bed more than about 8 hours max as hips get sore so I find it best to get up for a bit then go back later (only have this luxury when not at work!)
I am trying to decide whether to list my MBTs on ebay/netmums. I do like them but have only worn them a handful of times (like, 3!!) and dh always moans about it. If I put a decent reserve on them whatever money I got would go towards baby's room.
Another lazy day planned, may order the asda cot bits I want and I must phone a couple of people. One friend is so useless at getting back to texts it's so frustrating! We owe them money which dh wants paying out and we have keys to their house which need returning. Hopefully I can pop over today if she answers!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Morning Porpoises!
A whole day of nothing to do but jabber on to you lovely lot.
Am amazingly hot and uncomfy right underneath my bump, stretch marks itching has eased a bit, i've stolen baby's sudocream and thats the only thing that has helped...... They are nowhere near as bright, sore and itchy as they were so hopefully they will fade nicely.
Thought my waters had gone last night, not totally but a fair bit. Went to the toilet, had a pee, was about to heave myself up and then just had a surge of liquid. I didnt feel like i was in control of it..... so stuck a pad in and went to bed. Nothing more has happened, no contractions.
BH's are defo getting stronger past two days as well. I kinda feel like things are moving in the right direction...Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
rach you may be right with the early night thing but I was banking on the kids waking me at 5:30 like normal so waking at 3am is just frustrating. It could also be that because I was ill yesterday I didnt do alot so not tired enough to sleep iykwim.
I didnt know what MBTs were so googled and it looks like you can get fairly large discounts off them new, not sure how much you are thinking, maybe look at the sold prices on ebay for used ones but I think you are best off keeping them if you like them.
CAFCgirl good luck, sounds like somethings happening x0 -
Cafc i would let your midwife know about the waters so she can check you out if they have gone im pretty sure if nothing happens for 24hrs you have to have an antibiotic injection just to protect the baby from infection. Fingers crossed things start moving for you soon and HUGE labour vibes coming your way :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

I've had a joyous weekend. As most of you know I am now anemic :T Then my dad "joyfully" informs me that my nan has lung cancer.....
She's been given 6-9 months so hopefully she'll still be ok to see the baby when born.I haven't cried yet but I very nearly did when I found out. This is the first family member that I have known to be dying. Her husband died 4 years ago suddenly of cancer. So my poor dad might have lost both parents in less than 5 years
On a happier note though, the iron tablets I've been given are amazing! I've never felt like I have so much energy in all my life
So sorry to hear this. My Nan passed a few weeks ago and I did manage to show her a scan pic but it's sad that she'll never meet my baby. I know how hard it is - she was rushed to hospital the same day I was (different hospitals though) and I think we were both worrying about the other
Glad the iron tablets are working though. I know it sounds heartless but you really DO need to focus on keeping you and your baby healthy and strong. [hugs]Morning Porpoises!

Oh this is exciting news! Sending you good vibes and hope all goes well for you.
I slept a bit better last night, think the bellymonkey decided to let mummy sleep instead of dancing all night as usual. It seems to have a couple of days of being very active then it goes quietier but I get very tired and hungry! I wonder if that's it having a little growth spurt?
I woke up with a really sore, dry throat and a blocked but snotty nose though. I know I must have been snoring like a pig last nightBellymonkey due 25/09/10 :j0 -

Thanks Merfe, you may be right! I don't need to sell them and maybe I'll wear them more once bubs is here. At the moment I've not got used to wearing them enough for a full day when I'm at work but of course I'll be in and out of the house more then and we don't wear shoes in the house!
I am battering the CCard today - spent £80 at amazon last night for FiL and DH's birthdays and now just spent £60 online Sains order, one more thing to go...asda baby stuff order!
