Rach that is awful it's something you think may happen in a student residence not at work!

Merfe I go to regular aqua and just tell the instrutor but would love to try aquanatal - how did you find out about it? Don't think it is too early as your body will def start changing now past 12 weeks.

Hope all goes well CAFC! Just think it wont be long before you have a lovely new member to your family.

Im pretty shocked at the state of your mat care Pigpen, please dont start to worry now though as you have been very strong up to this point, you might not feel it but the way you have helped many others on here is an indication that you can get through your pregnancy.

Hope you have a good birth MSD and mummy cuddles very soon!

I have been lurking here and there but got so annoyed with false starts and being pregnant this week that I didnt want to post...

Ive had one hell of a week! Thought I was going into labour on the weekend after a whole evening/morning with contractionss only for them to stop after a huge one at 5:24am... grrrrr... Got my hopes up only to realise that whole evening of pain was for nothing. THEN...

Me and DH didnt go bed until very late last night, went to the toilet to dicover possible leaking/a show. Tried to sleep as much as possible, got up twice to discover ive been leaking a clear liquid on the bed (TMI, sorry!). Been keeping an eye on it all day, its slightly like jelly so Im guessing its the show???? Quite a few BH too but nothing to painful.

Just because Ive had a show it doesnt mean anytime soon does it? I dont want to get my hopes up but would like to know how long it was before labour started after a show?

    Thanks..

ern.. with DS3.. 15 weeks, DD1 19 days.. and DS2 I had 3 as it kept reforming.. DS1 I was in labour already..

If you have leaked on the bed the chances ar you have a tiny hole in the membranes which is leaking.. a show is usually just slimy and a touch blood stained rather than liquid. In which case it really shouldn't be long at all.

I don't know the answer to that I'm afraid, Michelle. Not though I shouldn't imagine. With my DS I have no memory of having a show or my waters breaking, but surely both happened?!

Just got a call from the GP, I'm getting a wheelchair!:jMixed feelings really, SPD is getting worse and I am really struggling now to get out and about and the plan is with a chair I can now be pushed around for walks so can at least get some fresh air. It's a bit weird too though, and I keep having toddler style tantrums along the lines of 'I wanted a baby, not to be crippled'. Not very friendly or PC but it's a tough adjustment to make in so short a time.

Good luck, CAFC. You were just leaving ttc as I was joining, how long ago does that seem!

Good luck CAFC. :) think I got sunburnt today :rotfl:

I'm going to order a maternity swimsuit of sorts for a. when they finish the splash park in town, and b. so I can go swimming because I really miss it and it's so nice when the weather is hot! Might go for a tankini one so I don't have to be nekkid if OH gets his waterbirth wish :rotfl:

Rach, another vote for laxatives here. You don't even have to say anything, just giggle when they run to the loo :D

Yeah, my physio suggested it yesterday actually. I think It'll be cheaper for me to buy one as I'm only 29 weeks and hiring twice woud be about the same price as buying.

Do you know any good deals? Best I've seen is £44 to buy

eta: hospital have run out which is why I have to get my own

Courgette.. try freecycle .. stick a wanted ad on if necessary.. there have been loads on ours. Best to double check though TENS machines are no usually advised in pregnancy.

    I am so disgustingly hot!!!

children outside on bouncy castle, OH not 100% so is slobbed in bed.. and I am melting!! I can't cope with hot when I'm not pregnant!!! Why I ended up with another summer baby I have no idea... my November ones were good enough!!! It was nice showing off my previous summer babies and not having to swaddle them to the extremities just to go do a school run but it is too hot to do anything!!

looks like the element in my grill has died too... ggggrrrr

Pigpen, it's so annoying when things break! My oven broke last year and comet were going to replace most of the parts in it (most of which had already broken and been replaced in one case more than once!) with 3 days left in the insurance policy. I said to them, no that's not good enough I want it written off. I feel lucky because I got a voucher and only had to pay £170 for a much much better cooker that hasn't missed a beat!

I got them to write my washer dryer off as well, sooner or later they will stop letting me in:rotfl:
