Thanks for replying Convent, I think I have got most of the big items we need I didn't know whether its worth going for advise/ information? I had planned on going months ago but now I am not sure!

Quick question, sometimes when the baby is moving it almost feels like he/she is shivvering/ shaking, has anyone else experienced this? Or does anyone know what it is??

MGEB - Received extender many thanks ;)xxxxx
Nappies - weve got Huggies and Pampers to see how we get on theyre both ok for weight upto 14lb
Maternity towels - I got 2 packs of Tescos own maternity towels and a couple of packs of Asda'a own super sanitary ones
Got my Debenhams order through including the big knickers - and they are huge although I did get a size up than my normal size and they go upto my belly button :o:rotfl:

Only 8 days to go til Eviction Day :) Has anyone had a C-section??? Just wondered what I should expect in the days after bubs and I dont mind if its really bad/graphic??:)
Hi yorky i have had 2 c-sections and am due another in November.
I can honestly say it was nowhere near as bad as i had thought it would be.
I was up and about the next day and although there was a tugging feeling in my stomach it wasn't so much painful as uncomfortable.
They will give you painkillers and you shold not feel bad about asking for them they will also give you a slow release pessary pain killer which greally helps your mobility.
The main things to remember are not to try and bend too much, change baby on couch or bed, take any help offered.
I found using a cushion when BF'ing essential as baby tends to lie exactly where you scar is.
Opening your bowles can be a bit worrying but i promise you, you will not open your scar as i was worried about first time around.
My sister had a natural birth to a big a baby and she was in more pain and discomfort for a longer time after i was.
Oh and feel free to use the 2but i've had a c-section for many months to get cups of tea made etc.!!!!!!

Much more but have to go and pick up DD will put on more as i think xxxx

    Had scan.

    :(:(:(

    The usual.

Not allowed any more scans now cos I've had too many.

Sonographer said bean is the most naughty bean she's known:cool:

He was very active though and the good news is that I don't have to see consultant again unless there's a problem or my Crohns flares up:)

So no nice scan pic for us. Team yellow and won't know if bubs is ok until he/she is born. Heart couldn't be checked properly and 1 arm couldn't be seen:(

*off to hide in a little hole for a while*:o

... oh but we did get to see a very cheeky little face which was quite amazing:D

Smartie...am so sorry your little bean didnt play ball again for you :( bean is obviously wanting to make a huge entrance into the world.

Kitkat...i havent experienced this so cant give you advice...my little one is usually pretty quiet. I hope someone will be able to give you some advice. I know where your coming from about the baby show....i was going to go as long as junior hadnt made an early appearance but now i really dont think i need to go. The advice would be good but it does end up being an expensive day with ticket, parking, petrol etc

    xx

Thanks Convent, I am unsure whether its hiccups or something else, but it does feel strange, OH has felt it lots and tried to look it up online but some of these things on google can put bad ideas into your head! If I ask my MW I know she will just say 'ask your health visitor' as she does for every question I ask her!!!!

Thats a good point about the Baby show, I hadn't considered fuel or parking, my sis has got a code for tickets for £12.50 which I didn't think was too bad. Fancied going for a day out as I feel like me and OH need a break away from home, for the day! The fuel shouldn't be too bad in my car but I know the price of parking is ridiculous at the NEC!

Cant believe the nhs dont offer antenatal classes anymore! What about people like me who don't have a clue!?!

Smartie my reckoning is that bubs is a girl and she's already a drama queen:p:D Talk about keeping everyone in suspense! :)

Sorry Smartie, missed your comment on previous page, sorry you didnt see your baby, obviously he/she is a little troublemaker!! Thats a pain you cant have anymore scans. At least he/she was very active, thats a good sign. *hugs*
