Congratulations to Choccy and Wildfrog on your new arrivals!!!:T:T

Hello to all the new posters, it's especially nice to see names I recognise from the ttc thread last year.

Sorry some of you are having problems, there seems to be a lot about whether it's families or pregnancies, hugs to anyone who wants one.

Sirmonster - I kept thinking mine was a boy which was confirmed by the scan. I don't think it means much from me though as I've thought we'd have a boy right from the beginning of ttc over two years ago!!

As for kicks, I can tell my boy is getting bigger/stronger, though fortunately they've not been painful (yet). I sometimes feel him if I turn over in the night, but he never wakes me up so I don't know if that's because he's asleep or maybe they're not strong enough for that yet.

Thanks to whoever mentioned the reduced tens machine rental at Wilkos, I'm not sure I would have got one but was there today and decided to get one. I now have to research it as I know very little about them! They also have other baby items reduced - I think some monitors were reduced although they was none left in ours. I did get some nappy liners half price.

Also Tesco has a few offers on - there were some reduced sterilisers that have me confused because I'd decided not to get any sterilisers/bottles/breast pumps until after the birth and wait to see what we need. I've been incredibly indecisive today! All I managed to decide upon in tesco was some reduced maternity pads.

Thanks for all the advice re constipation - I've been suffering this week which I don't understand because I haven't been eating any differently, and as for fibre I eat loads of fruit and veg, brown bread for sandwiches and bran flakes for breakfast!

I'm sure I had something else to say and maybe a question but its gone out of my mind! I can't blame pregnancy I've always been forgetful! Think I'll go have a bath. :D Sorry for the epic post!:o

Smartie, sound like you've got a little health freak there :p

    Saz, that's a cute border.

Rach, glad you had a nice holiday and managed loads of walking. Getting the mile to work seems like an epic journey to me now, and we used to do quite a lot of walking like you!

Is is bad that I spent half of my day at work on the Martha Stewart website printing off projects I'd like to try? Honestly, I think my baby really needs owls and elephants and I don't have a printer. Wonder how Xmas got along at her 3D scan?

Glad you enjoyed your hol Rach.. I cant even imagine what its like to walk for 15 mins solid... never mind 9 miles! :D

I hope you make pass the polish onto your hubby salesshopper! I think a good old tantrum would be allowed if I came back to a state! If he isnt sorted tomorrow, make sure you have a good old stamp of the feet... its your right too!

I have yet another scan on Monday too;) Getting fed up with them now *sigh* Hopefully baby co-operates this time!!

I've said "he" with this one from the start, have bought blue things and have a boy's name BUT I keep having little feelings that it's a girl. I'm very confused:o

Hope all goes well smartie... I havent a clue what were having but we have a lot more girl names on our list than boys! But that might be to do with the fact that there are lots of nice boys name in DH's family?

Lovely nursery CAFCGirl... ours is half the first photo and other half is one of the final ones... :D Still waiting for some book shelves and storage units to be delivered for front room so all that extra stuff is in bubs room.. its very annoying... And Im thinking our room is going to be a bit boring now as were literally beiges/creams, etc.. teddy bear theme. :( I guess I will just have to wait and see if its b/g before adding extra colour??

    Hello all :hello:

Have been a bit of a hormonal wreck :o but feeling a bit better now.

OH can't feel bubs kicking from the outside yet, I suspect that this is partly because of my spare tyre (lol) and partly because she is hiding behind the placenta! Hopefully soon he should be able to feel what's keeping me awake at night, and she's not even born yet! :rotfl:

I'm really jealous of all you ladies having takeaways, I put a chicken in my slow cooker today and felt worn out before it was time to do the veg so had hot chicken sandwiches instead :p

    CAFC, I printed off this

I kind of like that vintagey sort of look, rather than everything 'shiny' if that makes sense. Just depends whether or not I get my butt in gear and do it!

Don- I found the disposable pants useless, I am usually a 16/18 on my bottom half, and saw some of the size 18/20 ones on freecycle (brand new, unopened pack :D) anyway when I had DD and went to use them I literally could not get them up my legs at all, even though they should have been massive on me. I'm sure they snuck the size 12's in the wrong box :) I have opted for just using normal pants this time.
