Aww loving the room CAFC! Looks fab. Ours will be in a corner of our room so there's only so much you can do up a corner!! What I'm looking for is, you know those wallpaper borders, I want one with teddies or something on just to go round the alcove above the cot, so baby at least has it's own area. I've tried B&Ms and Wilkos but they're all either just flowers or specifically for a girl or a boy! I want teddies!! Any ideas on where I could look/what else I could put up?:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0

Or you could stick up bunting, or join us in the canvasses. Is it like an alcove baby is going in, what sort of size space is it gonna be?Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Why didn't I even think to look online??! Thanks! Loving the Hodge Podge
Bit dear though..
The alcove is just a bit longer than the cot, like 30cm longer or so, and the top end goes to the window, so bit wider than the cot, and the bottom end of the cot sticks out just over the end of our bed.
And if you can imagine it from that description you deserve a medal
I'd do better going to measure it...:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0 -
Thanks for letting me rant yesterday girls.DH and I had a chat last night and he admitted to being a dik and I had a good cry and a bath and feel much better today. I'm still in quite a bit of pain, but the exercises the physio has give me should start to help soon and I can't wait to start hydrotherapy at 16 weeks.
We're not bothering to redo DS1's nursery. We moved DS into another room in the house in January and have left the nursery as it was. It may need the paint freshening up, but that's about it. Just as well really as can't really afford to redecorate the whole room again atm.0 -

I love hodge podge xx
You could always take a photo of the space and I'll see what else I can think of.....
You could always just paint a border as well, like just some plain stripes next to each other in various unisex colours......its easy to do with masking tape :TWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Sounds like a few of us are having a bad/hormonal time at the moment....Hope it passes for everyone.
CAFC - Love the room:)
we are moving ds3 in with ds1&2...atm, will see how it works out. So the nursery will just stay the same for now....It is yellow with green carpet and curtains and winnie pooh pics, nothing special but looks ok:) The boys room has recently been decorated throughout in Spongebob squarepants theme, and they have had all new furniture, beds, everything so it is lovely. I just need to get some blackout liner for the curtains. There is metal blinds as well as the curtains but it is still pretty light in there and ds3 is used to a very dark room to go to sleep in. As soon as I sort the curtains then I will move him in there and see if he settles ok....if not then I will move his cot back into the nursery and just hope for the best that the baby doesn't wake him when crying for a feed in the night!!!!!!!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Saz - you could check out ebay, theyve got quite a few childrens wallpapers etc. And theres always wall stickers as well, you could just paint a border stripe in whatever colour you like....and then arrange stickers within that.
or this one maybe

Well count me in for the hormonal moody cow list. Been out all day since 9.30 with dd to keep her out the house while dh layed the flooring in living room. Just got back to discover very little work done, never bothered to move anything not even laptop, never used the dust covers for furniture or TV (yet will wonder why it breaks due to overheating having sucked half of the dust up). I feel extremely tired and achey and I want to kill him. He will be laying the floor till about 10 tonight and then I'll prob have to take DD out again tomorrow so he can put the skirting board on. :mad:Mam 2 Big E Nov 4 & Little A June 10:happylove0

hi all
back from hols, 2 weeks in west wales, which was lovely. we go there regularly so know it really well. I managed a fair bit of walking, longest was 9 miles but i found it really hard work, especially the up and down coastal bits, despite my 2 hiking sticks! However I am sure it has done me good, and we took it pretty slowly...I didn't want to get too out of breath etc. A lot of driving through - 1200 miles in 2 weeks (including 280 each way) and DH doesn't drive, or can't drive our car so it was all down to me. he's gone to the supermarket now for a few essentials and it will be chicken kebabs for tea and something off the sky+ box i think.
I am 20 weeks today, have really started to show now, depending on what I wear...I've got a couple of tops that make me look really pg!! Scan is a week on Monday and my parents are coming the bank hol weekend, so we'll be going to look at pushchairs etc as they have offered to get us one/help out.
Hope all are ok, won't manage to catch up on all i've missed but have there been any babies?Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
