You can use it when they are older, or on yourself, just not recommended for diddy ones.......
And us anti c's aren't gonna lynch you (just yet).... if you'd come back with wallpaper, lampshades, cot bumpers and cuddly things in character, we might have to re-think, but for now you're safe xx
Im not sure which stage of baby movements i'd like to go back to, im thinking the little gas bubbles.... the kicks were violent so not nice, and now ive got the rolling against my skin which is freaky and makes my belly go into weird contorted shapes...
Have to think about getting dressed at some point, mainly because i need to put my dressing gown in the wash, spilt tea down it opps....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

don't worry no wallpaper, lamp shades etc for me Cafc! The room is staying magnolia, the red curtains are staying and cream carpet (altho might get a colourful rug incase anything gets spilt!) I like the character clothing but have got a nice mix of character and some shops own range! I am hoping to copy you with your canvasses if you don't mind, just need to decide wot to paint!
I've had a bad week of movements, baby keeps turning around and sticking limbs out when doing it, feels very uncomfortable. Keep seeing hands and feet sticking out, very freaky! Also been living off gaviscon!
Thanks Xmas about the liquid talc. Have you got anyone who can help you out? Sorry to hear your feeling so tired, bet it must be hard work being pregnant with a LO already *hugs*0 -
please dont read if you dont want to as this is gonna be a major rant
im so !!!!!! off
1. as you know my mother is ill, causing me to worry about her, shes being extremly difficult
2. remember the other day i said i disowned my mother in law, well i spoke too soon and shes been sh** stirring causing arguments with dh and i over dd not waving to her in the car, oh yea & she and all other members of dh forgot ds bday:mad::mad::mad:
3. one of my so called friends has a party for her ds today and hasnt invited my ds but they are close friends ????? she thrives on other people being down
4. my stupid husband lent his bro my car last year he got caught speeding and bil had to many points on his licence so dh didnt sent form off now he has 6 points and convictions on his licence that made my insurance company cancel the car insurance as dh didnt tell them, so now we have no insurance & ive tried ringing them but they are closed i done a comparison online and my quotes have gone up from £600 ish to over £1000 :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
5. my spd is killing the house is a mess and dh is helping fix my bro`s new car that my father bought him, no he didnt buy my sis or i one when we passed our tests
today i feel like everyone is taking the biscuit big time
sorry to rant to you all the time0 -
Massive hugs 1more. Families can be such !!!!!! sometimes! Re the friend and the party I'd say don't even mention it, don't rise to it and act like you really couldn't give a f**k. That'll show her
I'd slap DH for that trick!! High insurance is all you need now with little one on the way grrrrrrrrrrr stupid men!!!! Hope you can get it sorted xxx
Xmas good luck with the scan this evening, I bet you are so excited!!! Can't wait to see pics
Redmel - re the paranoia, I've often freaked out over DH cheating, not that he ever would I know that for sure, it's just the thought of it. I even dream about it and wake up asking him if he still loves me!! Pregnancy sure does some strange things to your head, I can assure you it's normal!!
Hope everyone else is enjoying the nice sunshine. My two have gone for a sleepover at my aunties now so I have til tomorrow afternoon to do whatever I want! DH is tiling the bathroom lol.
Hope you all have fab weekends xxx:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0 -
Kitkat - were you planning on stars? If so I can send you the template if you like. its a thin wooden one so its easier than using a print out just on paper. Let me know if you do. Colourwise - cream, a soft-ish red and a denim blue would be nice if you dont know baby's sex.....
Also ikea had some really cheap bathroom mats/rugs, circular in bright colours. I think they were like 2.99 each, you could get 3 of these, cut the edges to form like a caterpillar shape, stitch them together (they're pretty thin) to use for a rug....
Little L is laying with his back on one side and so ALL his limbs are on my right side, so I get like 4 pokey bits all coming out on one side, thats horrid to watch LOL Like a scene from Alien..... eurgh!
1more - I couldnt read and run although Im not sure I've got anything constructive that would help aside from you have my sympathies for family upset.
2 - I cant believe they forgot his birthday. Do you think they really forgot or were just too lazy to bother (sorry if that creates more upset). And how are you supposed to control whether DD waves at her?! By the sounds of it I wouldnt wanna wave at her either, she sounds like a right dragon!
3 - I'd be tempted to ask why DS wasnt invited, I mean if she has an issue with you thats one thing, but to take it out on the kids who are friends is really below the belt!
4 - The only thing I can suggest is only insuring yourself on it, and not DH if its his convictions etc that are upping the quote.
5 - boys and their toys is all I can think of...... spd wise just take it easy, do whatever you want to do, the housework isn't going to kill anyone if it doesnt get done, maybe write a list for DH of the things he needs to do because you physically cant manage it.....
other than that all I can suggest is a big old cup of tea.....
And dont worry about ranting, thats what we're all here for, to support one another through the journey xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -
oh thanks girls for commenting i didnt expect anybody to
cafc, dh family always "forget" yeah right i think its about time i started being the same if they dont do for mine i wont be for their children, sounds awful but im sick of being the one who always gives
re "my friend" and the party over my dead body am i gonna ask her why he wasnt invited, shes not worth the breath, ds has gone on a 10 mile bike ride with my dad so hes not bothered, dont think i would of cared if i wasnt so cheesed off with everything else
saz my dh is a !!!!!! head hes to good always doing favours for everyone & he dont get that his family are a total waste of space
anyway 2 fingers up to the lot of them im going out this afternoon to the last game of the season and bbq at the rugby club (hopefully i wont see any of them)
thanks for listening to me0 -
1more - sometimes we do just have to bite the bullet and say right if this is how its gonna be, then fine, so i know you'll feel guilty no doubt for returning "the favour" but hell why should you give gifts to people who cant even grant you any common courtesy..
Sorry i misunderstood, i thought your friend was a good friend, thats why i thought it was well weird, if she's a wench, then yeah 2 fingers!
Hope you have a cracking afternoon though and really enjoy yourself!
Ive finally managed to have a shower to try and appease myself LOL I do feel a bit better, i think im dehydrated...... so lots of water on the go for me this afternoon during the footie i think xx
Oh and need to take my next bump photo xWealth is not measured by currency0 -

1more: sorry to hear ur having problems with ur family, I often think our lifes would be easier without them sticking their noses in! My mum has been great but my dad and OHs family make things difficult! I think that's awful about not being invited to that party, and your insurance going up *hugs*
Cafc, your so creative! I think you mentioned about you got your canvasses from wilkos, I did see them yest they're a good price, thanks for the offer of the template, if your not using it anymore that would be great, can I pm you when I've got the canvases and paint? Thankyouwish there was someway I could help you. I like your colour suggestions, our curtains are red purely as they were on offer, lol but I like them and red blue and cream would be a nice unisex mix! I love the idea of a caterpiller rug, there's not much floor space but I could always get a couple and cut out and sew around

why thankyou - i feel all holy now LOL. I (well mum) actually got my canvasses from 99p shop, they dont need to be great quality for what I was using them for, but Wilko have got better size ranges, I think they had some square ones, so doing a run of three would be nice.
The curtain we've got in babys room is in there solely because we got curtains for living room but when both of them were up, and open, they cover too much of the actual window so we only have one curtain on each window.
As per the rugs, I wish they had my colourways in those mats, and I would have done the same thing LOL
I think colourwise you need something a bit bright, even for unisex. If we hadnt found out the sex, those are the colours I would have used. Baby's like colour and theres only so much you can do with cream and lemon!
Trying to upload photos onto photobucket of babys room, I may be some time LOL
to wet the appetite though, heres my 36 weeker..... please excuse the fact that I hadnt made the bed!Wealth is not measured by currency0
