Just up from a nice sleep, doc signed me off for another fortnight ( been off for 3 weeks already ) he's concerned that I have depression and if it isn't properly sorted it could lead to post natal depression, he says it was caused by stress. I have been feeling really, really down the past few weeks but I feel it's starting to lift now, found myself laughing at a Lily Allen song which sing FXXX You to the tune of thank you ( how sad )
Haven't 'seen' Pigpen in a while, she must be busy redecorating/cleaning again, just wish I had her energy.
Kitkat - didn't really have a good look at the stickarounds, but I got dinosaur ones for DS as he's a dino nut, 48 small stickers for £1
as for the kicking which I'm guessing by your description is in the foof area :rotfl:, I've been getting that for a few weeks, I'm guessing it's when baby is feet down and after a while he/she moves and it's back to tummy kicks but yes I agree it's a bit strange.
For anyone having shoulder pain from trying to sleep on the left side ( tummy too painful, too much weight to sleep on back, right side is where kidneys are so apparently left side is best ), was at my docs today an he said higher pillows as your head has further to fall when you are sleeping on your side, therefore putting strain on you neck which pulls nerves in you shoulder causing shoulder spasmBusy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -
MLSL - Glad you had a good sleep hun.
I'd suggest using the time off you've got to do some "make me happy" things, just whatever takes your fancy, long baths, walks with friends, relaxing, reading a book, dvd's all day and take some time for yourself.
I've suffered with depression and have definitely felt it raise it's ugly head during pregnancy but I make sure I talk to DH every day about how I'm feeling, good things, bad things, what I've done etc, what I want to do, what I need him to do to help me etc...... and he's very much supportive in that he'll tell me to do whatever i want to do during the day, and doesnt moan if i havent done the washing up etc....
As for the sleeping, im finding every side uncomfortable! I get annoyed if I get comfy on my right side because i know i should be on my left LOL
Totally off topic - Just been watching news clip. I know its really pants and awful when you're planning on traveling etc and something happens to your flight, but I dont see why people are going mental at check in staff when the entire british air space is closed because of a volcano! I really feel for the staff......Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Cafc - I love the bath and have bathed myself into a wrinkle the last 3 weeks, I have also spent the time tidying the hose ( cleaning windows, skirting boards, sorting attic, tidying spare room and generally clearing/cleaning any space I can find, a tidy house a tidy mind seems to work for me ) For the next two weeks I plan to lunch with friends while Ds is at school as much as possible ( guiltfree now the house is spotless ) and more time with him.
Hubby is good but doesn't really understand why somedays I'm like a tornado cleaning the house and other days I do nothing. He always does his fair share in the house to be fair and would do any extra if I ask him.Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -
