Thanks all, think I was just being a drama queen! Is moving fine again now, though has shifted from where it was (the sharp bit jabbed where the bum was!). Think all is ok, was just a bit of a shock! Managed to DTD with DH, though it's getting more tricky each week!!

DH has dysoned the whole flat - I've been getting stressy as it was so dusty....living on a main road I guess!

    Hi rach

Glad bubs is moving again but just wanted to add that if you rh- and it was a considerable bump you should talk to the MW anyway to see if you need an anti d injection

morning everyone, how you all doing?

No kids this morning, slept till 7:30 it was lovely. Gonna try to get some housework done before they are back just after lunchtime. Still feeling rough but not as bad as the weekend.

As for DTD I am really honest with OH, I've told him I can't its too painful, that he best be quick cos I lose interest quickly and sometimes I'm just too sensitive down there to touch which is really frustrating. I just say its best to wait till when its good again after the baby is here. I struggle just to cuddle OH sometimes cos he is far too hot and I know that upsets him but its really uncomfortable.

Lauren, everything you eat flavours your breastmilk to some extent. It's not a bad thing... And certainly not a reason to avoid eating a nice curry if you fancy it...

Good Morning Ladies, I hope everyone is OK.

Ooooooh Kitkat. You're now in bold! Labour vibes to you.

It's weird to think I'm 6th on the list!

I have a question for you ladies who have given birth and torn. When they stitched you back up, did they give you and injection to numb the area or anything? I've realised the reason why I'm scared of the birth. It's because when I tore last time and needed quite a few stitches inside the doctor came in, stuck a needle in me and started stitching me up. The midwives were quite shocked of how quick he just started doing things so I had gas and air to get me through. The stitching up was actually worse than the labour if that's even possible! So are you meant to get that area numbed or not? I'm guessing I'm going to tear again as that's just my luck :rotfl:

Maybe it's why DS is a curry fiend at 21 months:rotfl:

He can manage them as spicy as I do, and I like curry.

But then, he seems to have a high pain threshold - he fell in a load of nettles yesterday and didn't even squeak, just got up and carried on.

We had a lovely weekend with my brother and his girlfriend, who get on brilliantly with DS and gave me a lovely break. We finally sorted out when we can go on holiday before bubs arrives, and we are having a visit from OH's best friend and gf, who live in New York in a couple of weeks, which is a wonderful surprise.

We have also found a house that may be good for us - we've been looking for over a year. I have a long list of questions for the estate agent, and I'm trying not to get excited that we could be out of our rented 2-bed cottage by the time bubs is due, and it would mean we had room for my mum to stay and for me to have a birth pool :j:j

I hope everyone's well this morning, how's your tummy Rach?

Nene, I had a terrible tear with DD1 (and they also left me in stirrups for 3 hours waiting for a Dr to come and stitch me up )

I had the aneasthetic injection but the tear went so deep it didn't reach high enough so I was chuffing on the gas and air and sobbing like nobodies business... Definietly worse than the whole labour!!

Anyway... I had a small graze with DD2 (in a completely different place to the first tear) they put 3 stitches in with anaesthetic and I didn't feel a thing :)

So despite my mother telling me it would be like perforated paper and I'd tear along the same line, I had no problem at all so there's no reason you should either :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

God I hope that's the case. Thanks Krystaltips.

Now it's just the waiting aspect to get over. Is this it? Is this it? But I'm not allowed her tonight or tomorrow morning so I must try to keep her in til then.
